Grace managed to eventually find the room that she was originally in and it was back to normal, the bed was made everything was picked up and the chains were gone. Seemed like Byron liked to keep things in neat order still. Her feet walked her to the full length mirror where stood looking at the dress, slightly twirling to watch it spin around her legs before settling on the polish wooden floor.

So many thoughts ran through her mind, was Byron telling the truth? Did Theo really just hand her over? For so long she had been made to believe that Byron was the enemy but what if that was wrong? What if he did really care for her and wanted to protect her? She and him went way back, well before she met Theo. Their parents had arranged to be married and it all changed when she met Theo who claim mate to her.

Grace didn't feel the mate bond with either male but then again she didn't feel it with anybody, was she broken? Did she really not have a mate out there? So many things were running through her mind but she needed to know the truth. Kicking the heels off Grace looked around the room for something, surely Byron would have more clothing somewhere.

As searching she found some pants that felt rough, almost like the cloth of a potato sack and in the back it had written 'high waisted jeans' whatever the hell that meant and she had a top on which was a tank top apparently. She found a pair of boots, leather, slightly loose but they would do.

Opening the bedroom window she looked down the edge of the mountain, the rocks didn't seem too bad, climbing out she soon down the building and moved towards the end the mansion, leaping the wall she soon landed on the wet grassland on the otherside, glancing over her shoulder once more before running off into the night and in search for Theo.

"Where is she?"

Byron's voice bellowed through the mansion, the party long over and done with, most vampires had returned to their quarters but some still lingered the main halls.

"Who?"

A snarl rose through Byron as he stalked down the halls. "Who? Fucking who?! Grace of course! Where has she gone!? Whu isn't there anybody at the doors!?" He yelled, some vampires quickly vanished from the sound of his authority and not wanting to piss him off more now that the Hybrid couldn't be found.

"Boss..— You better come check this out" A guard appeared from an office, his head slightly bowed to avoid Byorn's gaze who stormed into the office and looked at the CCTV. The black and white screen flickered but he saw it, the person climbing down the mansion and soon jumping the walls. Pausing when they turned back he saw it was Grace. Of course it was her.

Low rumbling rose through Byron who slammed his fist into the screen and it blew up. "She's going back to him-" Byron sneered before turning around to look at those hanging around the door. His green eyes now red.

"Shall we go bring her back?"

"No, let her go. Let her find the truth about Theo and she will soon come back because she will realise I was right and she has nowhere else to go" He uttered.

He should of expected this from Grace, it was in her nature to run back to something she thought was home. Would she actually ask Theo what had happened or would she continue to act naive about it all and go back to pretending she is happy?

Either way he now had to sit and wait for her to decide which part of her soul she was going to listen too.
