Maya POV

It had been a couple of hours since Theo arrived back, she was thrilled that he was back, her heart swelled at the thought of spending a night with him but it soon turned to anger and jealousy when she saw the brunette on his back wearing his shirt. The growl escaped the blonde who simply stormed off without even greeting her Alpha. This would be frowned upon and he may be pissed but she didn't care, he was suppose to be hers and not that fucking hybrids.

"That fucking bitch..-" She uttered as she kicked a stone watching it fly across the woodland and land in the water with a splash. "If she thinks that she will take him from me than she is badly mistaken..-" She uttered as her bare feet stomped on the damp grass until her ass sat down on a large stone near the river and she glared at the rippling water. Her palm under her chin as she huffed loudly.

Footsteps could be heard behind her and the scent that followed had the blonde looking over her shoulder to see her brother stood there, his hands in his pockets as he watched her, a slight shake from his head as a brow arched up for a moment. "Sister, you do know that they will be able to hear you if you speak any louder, right?" He uttered as he strolled towards her before bending down to look at his younger sibling at eye level. His hand patted her leg.

"We knew he was going to find her eventually once he heard she was alive, maybe she won't stay for long but either way I will make sure you are the Luna for this pack one way or another"

Maya moved closer to her brother putting her head on his shoulder as a heavy sigh escaped her pink stained brims. "I just wish he would realise that I am suppose to be his mate, Zac. Everyone knows how well we go together...-" She mumbled to him.

In the twist of her mind Maya believed the short fling with Theo meant that she belonged to him. He didn't want her, she wasn't Grace and despite what Maya did she wasn't good enough but maybe if she took out the Hybrid than he would want her, he only wanted Grace because she didn't belong to either wolves or vampires. It was a game for Theo and he hadn't realised it yet.

Zac watched his sister for a moment before rising to his feet once more and his fingers brushed his fingers through her sun kissed golden locks. "Return home soon, he wants to celebrate her return..-" He said before turning on his heels and left his sister to cool down and rejoin the pack so they could party the night away.
