It was dark, there was no sound, no pain, no nothing. Was this truth death Grace thought? If it was? She didn’t like it, she felt like she was floating in the abyss of nothingness. It was like she hadn’t ever existed. The darkness was one thing she feared, this was... None existing and it shook her to whatever soul she had left.—
Theo came into the hut, the door slamming shut behind him as he kicked off his boots “Grace? I hope you’re finished in there. It isn’t big enough us for us both” He called out as he removed his shirt and walked into the small bathroom of the hut.Upon seeing Grace’s body floating the water, he instantly knew the hybrid wasn’t breathing, he grasped hold of her wet arms pulled her out before throwing a sheet over her body before putting her onto the bed. “Get in here!” He bellowed to his pack, they soon spilled into the small hut as he turned on his heels to look at his pack. His eyes blaring golden as he stalked up to them.
“Who the fuck did this?!” He shouted, everyone looked at each other. He growled loudly, his Alpha stance showing made them back away slightly.
“Answer me or I promise you won’t see another sunrise!” He snapped before pointing to Grace’s body.“Do any of you know what happens when a Hybrid wakes up from their death?! They go blood thirsty!” He yelled at them all, beyond angry at his pack for not telling him the truth. “Get the fuck out!”
The pack practically knocked the door from the wall as they rushed out, wanting to avoid the wrath of their Alpha. Walking over to Grace's body, he brushed her wet locks from her visage before studying her paled features carefully, silently hoping she would wake any moment.A heavy sigh escaped his lips as he sat down next to her. “Don’t disappoint me Grace when you wake up..” He mumbled to the brunette as he ran his fingers through his locks. How long would it take for her to wake? A few hours? Days? He had no clue, hybrids were a whole different breed of creatures all together.
Sitting down next to her, he brushed his fingers through her wet brown locks, studying her carefully before sniffing the air when he caught a scent that shouldn't belong in his area nor his home. Scowling he stormed towards the bathroom where he pushed the door open and looked to the window which was open and the cold wind blew threw. Theo knew he had that window shut when he left her so why was it open?
Walking closer to it he found a piece of fabric stuck to a nail that was sticking out and he picked it up, bringing it to his nose he sniffed at it before a growl escaped his lips.
"Fucking leeches...-"
