Grace couldn't remember much of the journey, maybe that was what Byron wanted. Maybe he didn't want her to know where he was taking her but judging by the smell of death and the silence around the car they were heading back into vampire territory. A land for the dead in every sense, even the vampires who sat in the vehicle with her looked like their immortal thread was nearly cut, there apparently was a low supply of humans and the ones within the protected walls couldn't be touched, so Grace learned from their conversations.

Her mind kept drifting in and out of consciousness as her body tried to fight the Nightshade that pulsed through her system, when she finally woke to a more conscious level Grace blinked as she slowly took in the sight around her, a bedroom.. Not very big but not very small, the bed she laid on had silk sheets and a plain pillow. All a deep red, candles scattered around the room to illuminate it, a bear rug at the bottom of the bed in front of a fire that was crackling away to itself and kept the room filled with a comforting warmth. The walls were blank, slightly cracked in places and it was obvious it had no work done to it over recent years. Like it was forgotten.

Sitting up Grace went to rub her face only to have her hands stop just short of them as a metal clank came from under the bed, looking at her hands she looked at the chains that were tied around her wrists, tugging on them she frowned as she pulled harder but the simply clinked again. Climbing off the bed she managed to move them so she had more length and she walked towards the window, it was dark outside.. Almost too dark, yanking the bed with her and it's legs scraped on the floor as she managed to look out of the window. A small barely audible gasp escaped her.

They were in a freaking mountain, she could barely see the ground, cloud covered most of her sight but she could tell it was too high up, the air smelt too fresh and cold. Pulling at the chains she growled in frustration before yanking on them again. "What the fuck!?" She hissed as she tried pulling on them again and the door swung open to the room.

Byron strolled in holding a bottle of whiskey in one hand and two glasses in the other. A slight expression of bewilderment appeared across his features before changing into one of amusement. "I hope you realise that climbing out of that window I'd pointless, you die upon impact..-" He said as he pushed the door shut. Grace glared at him from across the room. "Where are we!? And why did you take me!?" She asked him, clearly ignoring his warning of her escape.

"This place is called Nightshade Crypts..- It was formally known as Winter World but after our food begun to run out and we begun to starve it all died..- Children became walking rotten Zombie corpses.. Down below is no place for a Queen like you..-" He commented as he placed the bottle and glasses down on the small wooden table nearby the fire. His gaze lingered on her as the flames flickered, lighting up her features: her emerald hues glowing in the light and her skin looked like it had been kissed by the sun. His hands tightened into fists for a moment. "I'm getting out of here and I'll kill you or anyone else who tries to stop me" Grace told him, feeling uncomfortable from his gaze before looking back out of the window.

A small chuckle came from the raven haired male. "I would believe that if you weren't all tied up..- You aren't going anywhere I'm afraid Ambrogino '𝓛𝓲𝓽𝓽𝓵𝓮 𝓲𝓶𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓽𝓪𝓵 𝓸𝓷𝓮' He thought to himself wondering if she would still remember the pet name and it seemed she did as she growled loudly in his direction. "Don't you call me that" She warned him, a brow rose as he looked to the femme before sitting on the bed. "Remind you of the good old days, huh, Regina lumii interlope ( 𝓠𝓾𝓮𝓮𝓷 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓾𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓻𝔀𝓸𝓻𝓵𝓭)" He commented slyly.

Within a blink of an eye Byron was pinned down to the bed by his throat, Grace leaning over him with her mouth slightly open baring a row of sharp canines to him as her hues now glowed golden, yet he couldn't stop the smirk that appeared across his features before a rumble of a laughter rose through her. "Did I strike a nerve, love?" He asked only to feel added pressure to his wind pipe and her nails now clawing into his neck, piercing the flesh and the smell of blood filled the air as she continued to stare down at him.

Holding his hands up in a sign of surrender Byron looked to Grace "Have a drink with me and I shall see about getting those chains off of you..-" He said, Grace continued to glare at him as her hues flashed red briefly before going back to the deep emerald shade, releasing her grip on his throat slightly she climbed off the bed and moved back towards the window, creating space between them once more whilst she waited for her drink.

Meanwhile as the silence continued to stretch between them Grace pondered in her mind, wondering if Theo was going to come try find her or simply let Byron keep hold of her until his next move. Theo was a warrior and a leader, Grace knew he would have a plan to get her back but she was in the dark and right now Grace didn't know what was going on or how she should play this but either way she getting out of that place and taking down as many vampires as she possibly could.
