"She was there Diego! I fucking saw her wolf!"
Theo's voice boomed through the hut as his palms connected with the wooden table, causing Diego and a few other males to jump in their seat, none looking their Alpha in the eye as he paced back and forth in front of the burning fire.
"It could of been some random wolf..-"
A voice spoke up from the long table which prompted a death glare from Theo and the lesser wolf sunk into his spot.
"I know what my fucking mate smells like and I most certainly know her damn wolf..-"
A growl of annoyance escaped his chapped brims as he continued to pace. Back at the club Theo couldn't go after her like he wanted too, the force made sure that all the creatures from that club stayed put whilst they did a search for the rouge wolf. The officer in command had ordered Theo to track her down and bring her back to the labs to be dealt with but he wasn't going to hand over his mate. Not after all this time.
Grace was injured and in a world that she no longer knew and he had no idea where she went, her scent became lost when they got closer to the vampire territory and Theo had to call off the search. He wasn't going to risk losing any of his kind to those beasts.
"Go round up a horse, I'm going to go find her..-"
Theo barked and a couple of men got up and rushed from their seat straight to the door, anything to avoid the wrath of their Alpha and his fowl mood. When Theo was in a sour mood no one was safe from his temper, it seemed he lost all control on his self restraint when Grace broke their bond but in turn it helped him climb the ranks and become the Mega Alpha for their district.
"Theo, we lost her in the vampire lands, you going in there is suicide..-" Diego said quietly as his brown orbs watched his Alpha. Diego was the only one who seem to have some effect on Theo's mind state when he became enrage.
"She was shot by something she doesn't know and it will be weakening her until she takes it out and I don't think she will realise just how dangerous humans have become. I am going to get her and I will be bringing her back home"
Theo's tone made everyone aware that the conversation was over. A tap at the door before a small blonde female stepped inside letting Theo know that his horse was ready. Sure he could use modern day technology and vehicles but he still had his steed and that was more trusting than any piece of metal that moved on rubber.
—
Reaching the edge of the his land Theo stroked the steed's neck to calm it as it began tossing its head from side to side and whined loudly. "Easy boy..- It's alright..-"
Theo murmured to the beast offering reassurance before urging it forward and slowly the horse began to move through the trees, easily moving to climb up towards a more rocky road, the land reeked of sulfur, most Greenland dead and dry, nothing like the rich grasslands of the wolf territory. He wondered just how far Grace could of gotten without any form of assistance.
Would vampires offer help to a creature they deemed to be an abomination? He hoped at least one coven still had a small thread of humanity left otherwise she could very well bleed out in these lands.
That was a feeling he didn't like, he had clung onto hope for all these years thinking she was still alive and he was right, but lose her to mortals? It enraged his inner wolf, he was going to do anything to keep her safe.
No matter the cost.
