Allie got ready fast. She woke up just an hour before North started heading out to pick her up. A lot of her clothes are dirty and needs to be washed so she put together a random outfit. She hopes North won't notice how bad she really looks because of the jacket she put on.
Allie's hair is in a ponytail. Her ear holes are plugged today with her glass jewelry. She's wearing her long black trench coat with dark blue sweatpants. Underneath the jacket she has a red shirt on. She's trying her best to look 'presentable' for North.
The weather outside isn't as bad as it usually is, but it's definitely getting colder as winter begins to approach. Allie's standing outside on the sidewalk with her hands buried in her pockets. Her cheeks are a faint red and her nose is beginning to run. She can see her breath hang in the air like smoke this afternoon. She constantly sniffles.
Allie is unaware of what car she should be looking for. She's knows it's going to be fancy and expensive one. She's been standing outside for at least twenty minutes now as people stroll by in work clothes and school uniforms. Allie's head turns from side to side as she grows nervous.
Her mood is still mixed from last night. She and Alix haven't made up yet. Alix is still upset and jealous about the situation. She doesn't mind North and Allie being friends from a distance. Alix believes that North is going to somehow get in the way of things, but North's only intention is to become close to her long lost ex lover. She has no interest in 'stealing' Allie.
A 2015 grey Mercedes Benz C250 Coupe randomly comes to a sudden stop a few feet away from Allie. She's a little startled considering she was lost in thought. The windows are tinted black. The car only has two doors. Allie already knows that this dream car belongs to North.
North rolls down the window. She leans her head forward on the steering wheel and smiles at Allie. Allie laughs and quickly scurries to the passenger door. She's cold and wanting to sit down. She pops open the door and rests her eyes on the black and red leather it's designed in.
Allie puts her left foot inside and positions herself to sit down. She brings her right foot in and closes the car door. North quickly starts the car back up and begins to pull up to the red light a few feet away. Allie looks around the car, taking in its beauty. She realizes she can't even feel the car moving.
"Like it?" North asked.
"It's beautiful ..." Allie mumbled looking at the back seat.
North shrugged. "I didn't actually buy this - it was a gift. I don't even like Mercedes, but hey it's a free car."
Allie finally takes notice to what North is wearing. Her hair is in a braid. She has a white scarf wrapped around her neck and the khaki jacket she wore just two days ago. Her jeans are dark grey and she has on black heel boots.
Allie scoffed. "Are you seriously wearing heels?"
"Well what's it look like?" North said sarcastically.
"Unbelievable." Allie said shaking her head.
"Seat belt Sackson." North said.
Allie looks to her right and pulls the black belt over her chest. North sits back in her chair and presses on the gas again. Allie sits stiffly in the passenger seat and watches the road ahead of her. She's not used to being driven around in a luxury car.
"How was the rest of your night?" North asked.
"Um, it was okay I guess. Got some sleep in." Allie answered.
North cleared her throat. "I can hear the awkwardness in your voice. What's wrong?"
Allie shot a quick glance at North. "What? Awkwardness?"
