I rush into the community center. I'm exhausted and my legs are starting to cramp up on me. Alix better be here. I didn't give up the rest of my early afternoon to come here and worry about her mother on my own.

I sign in and rush pass the security guards. They've seen me here enough to not give me any issues.

My white tank top sticks to my body. It's warm in here. I got over my small anxiety of showing my tattoos. Now I regret wearing my grey sweatpants. My hair is in a ponytail and I have my black plugs in my ears.

People are running back in forth in the hallways. I have my black jacket in my hands. I know Coach Clover will be happy to see me walk into the gym.

Yesterday I was bombarded with anxiety and over thinking. North tried her best to calm me down and direct my emotions somewhere else. She talked me out of drinking.

She told me I have to be strong for Alix because she's depending on me. I'm her knight in shining armor. I don't like the fact that it's up to me to make her feel better about things like this. I have no good experience or advice to give. My experience with coming out wasn't great.

The last thing her mom needs is to find out her perfect future professional athlete is dating me: an alcohol loving tattoo freak with grade D- education.

I see scattered wolves everywhere. I count the number of girls I see standing in front of the gym doors. There's two missing and those two would be Alix and Tiffany.

One girl notices me, but she quickly looks away. Members of the boys basketball team randomly appear. They're in there black uniforms. I see surfer tan skin and blonde hair in the crowd.

As much as I would love to have a conversation with douche bag McGee, I need to find my girlfriend. Now it's almost impossible to get through this crowd.

I look around me one last time to make sure I didn't miss her. I walk and push my way past half of the basketball team.

"She's in the locker room." I heard from behind me.

That was Damian. He would be the only one to say something to me. His voice rings the most unpleasant bell ever. It's almost like he wants to piss me off.

I turn around and immediately catch him with my eyes. He's holding a basketball in his large hands staring back at me. His hair is brushed back. Small streaks of sweat cover the side of his face.

He's not worth wasting my breath on. I roll my eyes and turn back around. I can feel his eyes on my back as I begin to walk again. I pick up the pace as my thoughts start to run wild.

A lot of things can go wrong with this situation. I can lose my relationship a lot sooner than planned. I can only hope her mom hasn't brought it up yet.

I'm in the hallway where the locker room is at. The door opens a little and Tiffany slips out walking the opposite way. She doesn't see me and I don't get the chance to talk to her.

I run up the hall and pull open the door slowly. I hold it open and listen for Alix's voice or any movement. I don't really hear anything. I poke my head inside the locker room. It looks just the way I left it days ago.

"Babe?" Alix called.

I sigh out of relief and walk inside taking my hand away from the door. I feel the wind behind me as it slams shut seconds later.

"Alix." I said softly walking around the middle set of lockers. I tossed my jacket onto the bench.

"Babe!" She shouted crashing into my chest.
