Allie

Here I am, pacing around my hallway by the front door waiting for Alix. I'm excited, nervous, and trying to figure out what details I can give about myself that won't make me look bad. She wants to get to know the person no one knows. She wants to know the person I don't even know myself.

My apartment is cold, but I'm walking around in my black spandex briefs, white knee-high socks, and a red sports bra. I have my metal tunnels in my ears and my hair remains in the tragic bun I woke up in.

Kendra isn't stopping by today. I told her today was an Alix day. I want her all to myself. That's all I ever want now; Alix. She's all I've been thinking about. Thinking about her distracts me from my problems. When I'm sketching tattoos I lose myself in my thoughts.

Two light taps on my door caught my attention. I know it's Alix - always so gentle and soft. My heart started to race in my chest as I reached for the locks. I unlocked the door and slowly pulled it open. I saw my blonde beauty standing before me, shivering and smiling at the same time.

"H-hey." She shivered.

I laughed. "You look cold."

"I'm v-very cold, can I c-come inside?" she shivered some more.

"Of course, hurry before you freeze to death," I said holding the door wide open.

She stepped inside. I closed the door and locked it quickly, rushing to hug her. She had on her brand new varsity jacket, khaki pants, and a white V - neck shirt. Her hair was tied in a ponytail.

"C'mere you." I pulled her into her arms.

She pushed up against my chest and giggled, still shivering. She was definitely freezing, but she looked cute while doing it. Her coldness spread across my whole body, making the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Her arms are wrapped around my sides.

"You're really warm." She mumbled through my chest.

I smiled. "Thanks."

Alix lifted her head up and looked at me. I'm looking down back at her, stuck in a small trance. She smirked a little, making her dimples sink in her cheeks. She's never had this small devious look in her eyes before. This is new - for both of us.

She closed her eyes and her lips grazed mine. I'm a little late with my reaction, but tilting my face, I catch her. Her lips fit perfectly with mine as we kiss slowly, neutrally; no tongue or lip biting. Her breath is warm and sweet-smelling, like usual.

Our lips make a small pop noise as we pull away.

"I really needed that this morning." She said quietly, looking up at me.

I nodded and smiled. "Agreed."

I noticed the small bags that rested under her eyes. It looks like she didn't get much sleep last night. Her blinks are slow and fluttery. She's struggling to focus.

"How about a nap?" I suggest.

"Oh - no, I'm okay." She said quickly.

"C'mon, you gonna turn down this opportunity to cuddle?" I laugh slightly.

She smiled a little. "No."

I grabbed her hands. "Then let's go. You having class this early has to take some toll on your sleep."

She followed me as we walked up my white narrow hall.

"It does, along with practice. I never usually get any sleep." She shrugged.

"I get some sleep actually when I'm not awake sketching," I said.

"I have a feeling you do that often." She chuckled.
