Narrator
Allie sits on her brown leather couch in the living room holding an ice pack to the left side of her head. She's been experiencing random black outs and confusion. She's still in her red shirt and dark blue sweat pants. Her hair is also still in the messy ponytail she left the woods in.
North is sitting next to Allie, making sure she stays awake and alert. She has her heels off to the side with her jacket on. Her socks are dirty, but it's the only thing she has right now. Her white scarf is on the other couch.
"I'm not gonna be able to leave you here like this." North said.
Allie slowly moved her eyes to North. "I'll be fine."
North folded her arms. "You can't even stay awake for ten minutes without me yelling at you."
Allie smiles.
"This isn't funny." North said softly.
"I'm okay for the millionth time. Just drowsy." Allie said.
"You have a concussion. You have to be awake for a little." North said.
Allie sighed. "You do know that's a myth right? You're only supposed to wake me up every two hours or so to check if I'm okay. I'm not going to slip into some damn coma. Sleep is the best medicine."
"You slapped your head against the ground. How? I'm not even sure, but with your luck you'll slip into one." North argued.
Allie laughed. "Thanks for jinxing it asshole!"
"At least stay awake until I leave. You still haven't shown me the rest of this place." North said looking around.
"Yeah, I have to show you your future office." Allie said putting her ice pack down.
"This is actually really nice. Didn't think it'd be this clean." North teased.
"Ha. Ha. You are hilarious." Allie said sarcastically.
North chuckled. "So this is you all day huh?"
Allie looked around. "Yeah. Unless Alix comes over. Other than that, I'm pretty lonely."
North nodded. "I'm pretty lonely myself."
"I wouldn't see why 'Ms. I have the money to get anything and everything I want'." Allie said.
North shrugged. "Having a lot of money isn't fun when you have no one to spend it with."
"Pfft. My ass." Allie said. "If I had as much money as you, I'd be buying unnecessary shit every day."
North smiled. "Like?"
"Sketchbooks, tattoo guns, more plugs, more clothes, more food." Allie listed.
"That's important though. You said 'unnecessary'." North said.
"Sex toys. Lots and lots of sex toys." Allie said with a grin on her face.
North laughed. "Not really unnecessary if you ask me."
"You know, Alix has never really masturbated." Allie mentioned.
"I don't think you're supposed to be telling me that." North said awkwardly.
Allie shrugged. "Well why not? You're my best friend I tell you everything."
"I don't know. I feel a little awkward talking about your girlfriend - in that way." North said quietly.
"Really? Why?" Allie asked.
North shrugged. "I'm still getting used to the fact that you have her. You know, it's been awhile."
Allie nodded in understanding. "Sorry then. I didn't mean to make you feel weird."
