The girls walked in front of the Doctor, talking quietly, probably discussing shoes or whatever girls gossip about. They were talking about the blonde's relationship issues, apparently while Rose was investigating alien nonsense the two had just drifted apart. Mickey became obsessed with conspiracy theories and Rose was getting tired and annoyed with his insistence that the Doctor was dangerous and Ella must be mental for going with him. She reminded Rose that she was a little bit, "I know . . . But not for following him." The group finally approached the towering buildings of the estate where Rose lived.

The Doctor has been very quiet since he accidentally let it slip how much he cares for Ella. The man sulked in his Tardis as the girls ascended the stairs of the estate to deal with whatever mess they were going to leave behind, he walked up to the console and called Rose's phone after a bit of time. It rang so she must have charged it. "Hello?"

"Can I speak to Ella?" The Doctor heard a shuffle on the other side so she must have recognized his voice. "Right, I'll be a couple of hours, then we can go. I've just got to send out this dispersal, that's cancelling out the Slitheen's advert in case any bargain hunters turn up." He informed when he heard Ella's voice on the phone.

"Jackie's cooking." Ella walked into the Tyler's bathroom and locked the door behind her for some privacy.

"Good. Put her on a slow heat and let her simmer." The brunette had to let out a small smile at his reply.

"She's cooking. For us."

"I don't do domestics." Now, Ella was confused.

"You let me cook for you." She pointed out, wondering why Jackie cooking made such a difference to him.

He mumbled, "that is entirely different. We both know I can't cook to save my life."

"How is that different," a wicked smile spread across her face, "and I'm glad you finally admitted that you're not great at something. Shame we had to sacrifice kitchen 5 for that," she reminded him of the Bread Incident with a laugh.

"You just are," he said quickly eager to forget about the small fire he caused. "Now, are you both coming or not? You could stay here if you want, fill your life with work and sleep and useless boyfriends." He trailed off to let his words sink in. "Or you could come with me to see this plasma storm brewing in the Horsehead Nebula. Fires are burning ten million miles wide; I could fly the Tardis right into the heart of it then ride the shock wave all the way out. Hurtle right across the sky and end up ... anywhere. Your choice, Giselle."

His description of what was to come excited the brunette but she was mostly looking forward to getting back to her room so she could sleep for a few days, as she was utterly exhausted. All the sleepless nights on Zenus 43 making sure it wasn't overrun with insects, running on Rezore and saving Earth from getting nuked was very draining.

"Whoa, calm down, Doc. I never said I wanted to leave you, I just thought you might be hungry, we haven't eaten since yesterday. Rose is packing but Jackie doesn't want her to leave and my dad is back to his silent treatment." After they had that sorted Ella hung up the phone and made her way back into the main part of the apartment and prepared herself to deal with the boy she left behind.
