"A BOY" Juan shouts, shooting up from his seat, the biggest smile I've ever seen on his face. He's holding the results from the ultrasound in his hands as he jumps around like a maniac. He falls to his knees in front of me, tears welling up in his eyes. "A boy. We're having a boy, bonita." he whispers, caressing my stomach gently.

I laugh, tears rolling down my cheeks. "A boy." I nod, looking down at my stomach. He looks up at me, and kisses me roughly. "I love you." I cry out in between our kisses.

"I can't believe it." he smiles, holding my face between his hands. "A baby boy."

I wipe my tears away, putting my hands over his. "That's amazing." I laugh lightly. "We're gonna have a son." my heart swells up just at the thought of it. 'My son'. I really didn't have a preference when it came for the sex of the baby, but I already know a boy is what we were meant to have.

"Elizabeth is gonna be pissed we didn't let her plan the gender reveal." Juan chuckles, wiping at his eyes as he takes a seat next to me.

I laugh, nodding. "She'll understand why we did it though." I say, and he nods as well. "We can tell everyone together at our place when we get back home."

"Yeah, I'll have my family come over from Colombia so we can do it all together."

I put my hands on his lap. "Speaking of home, just go to this damn meeting today so we can go home." I sigh, shaking my head. "You don't need to stay here with me. I'm fine. Yes, it sucks that everyone knows now, but I honestly don't even care about that right now, I'm too happy with news we just found out." I shrug, smiling.

"Are you sure?" he asks, frowning.

I nod, caressing his cheek. "Yeah. Go. Go to this meeting and then we can go home tomorrow morning and tell everyone the exciting news." I smile excitedly. "I'll be fine. Promise."

"Okay. Okay, yeah. I'll go then. Only if you're sure."

I smile, rolling my eyes. "I'm sure."

"Okay, alright. I'm gonna go get ready then." he kisses the side of my head, standing and heading towards our bedroom.

"Hey, Liz." I smile, bringing the phone up to my ear. Juan left about two and a half hours ago, and I've stayed put our couch, reading articles about the leak of the pregnancy.

"Hey Anna." she says. "I'm so sorry about what happened. These people are assholes." she sighs loudly.

I pull the phone away from my ear and call her through FaceTime. I see that she's frowning. "It's okay, Liz. Wasn't anything we could've done to avoid this happening." I shrug. "I'm fine though." she looks unconvinced, causing me to laugh. "Seriously. I am. Did you watch Juan's live?" I ask.

"Mhm." she nods.

I take a deep breath in. "Well him doing that helped a lot. I feel calmer knowing that he addressed it and everyone knows to not try bringing it up."

"Doesn't mean they won't though." she rolls her eyes.

I nod. "True. But at least they won't be surprised when I ignore the fuck out of them trying to ask me questions about it." I've gotten pretty good at ignoring the media when they try bothering Juan and I, so I see no reason why this should be any different. I'll ignore anyone who tries to get a comment out of me about this pregnancy.
