"Ready to go?" asks Juan, walking into our bathroom.
I finish putting my hair up into a messy bun and turn to look at him, leaning against my sink. "I don't know. I think so."
"Estas nerviosa?" he smiles, looking down at me. I nod. "We're gonna get to know the sex of our baby, doesn't that excite you?!" he puts his hands on my hips and shakes me playfully.
I laugh, nodding. "Okay, yeah. It does."
"Then let's go." he says, gesturing towards the door.
I nod, looking over my look. I'm now 16 weeks, and my belly can be easily spotted while I'm out in public, and since we haven't let the world know I'm pregnant yet, I've had to wear baggy clothes absolutely everywhere I go. Todays outfit consists of an over sized hoodie with one of Juan's jean jackets over it, and some matching jeans.
"You look good today." I smile over at Juan as we walk out of the bathroom and make our way out of our room.
He looks down at his outfit. "Yeah?"
"Mhm." I nod while we walk down the stairs. "Better then I look or feel." I joke, shaking my head.
He looks over at me, scrunching up his nose. "Morning sickness still got ya?"
"Yeah."
I sigh, and he puts his arm around me as we exit the house. "I'm sorry, mi amor. I wish it were me who felt that way and not you." he kisses the top of my head before locking the door behind us.
"That would be amazing." I smile. My morning sickness has been awful. I get it almost every morning, and the worst part is half of the time I don't even throw up. It's just nausea for hours on end, which in my opinion is far worse than just feeling nauseas for a few minutes and then getting it out.
We walk towards one of our cars and Juan opens the door for me. I get in, sparkling water in one hand, purse in the other. "So, what do you think it's gonna be? What do you want?" he asks once he's also gotten into the car.
