Eighteen

"Are you staying for dinner?" I ask Joel once we've all taken a seat in the family room.

He shakes his head. "Nah, I'm going out with Mark for dinner tonight. Thanks though." he stands. "I'll see you guys later."

Juan and I wave goodbye to him as he begins to walk out. "Drive safe!" I call out after him.

"Yep." he nods, not stopping.

I get onto Juan's lap, straddling him once Joel has shut the front door behind him. "I missed you so much more than I thought I would." I smile, caressing his face.

He nods. "I know, I missed you a lot too." he kisses me gently. "We really need to get that studio made in the house."

I nod in agreement. "How was your day?" I ask, tracing little shapes on the back of his neck with my fingers.

"It was good. I got a lot of work done on a few songs. Finalized about two." he nods with a smile.

"When do you think you're gonna be finished with the album?" I ask.

He shrugs. "At the pace I'll be going now that I'm going to be going to the studio often, I'd say in about two to three months."

"And you'll tour right after?"

He nods. "Kind of. We already have all the arenas booked and everything. My management team says we should start promoting the tour a few weeks before the album comes out. Get the word out, put the tickets on sale, and then go on tour about a month or two after the album is out."

"I'm happy for you." I nod, smiling. "But I'm going to miss you a lot." I frown.

"Yeah, I know." he moves a strand of hair behind my ear. "But you're more than free to come to all the shows you'd like. As long as you aren't working."

"Yeah, ideally I'd want to be with you as much as possible." I nod again.

He smiles, kissing me gently. "But hey, I wouldn't start touring for another at least another six months."

"Yeah, that's true. And how long would you be touring for?" I ask.

He hums in thought. "Probably a bit over a year. It's a world tour after all and sometimes I have a whole month break in between legs of the tour."

"That's gonna feel like forever." I smile sadly.

"Not if we see each other often. Which we will. I'll make sure of that." He nods.

I kiss his cheek, smiling. "I know you will." I nod. "Are you going to the studio tomorrow?"

"No, why?"

I smile excitedly. "I have a shoot tomorrow. Come with me."

"Victoria Secret?" I nod, laughing. "I'm sold. I'll be there." he nods.

"Angie!" I smile, pulling her into a hug. "This is Juan Luis, my husband." I smile widely, turning to Juan. "Wow, this is the first time I've ever introduced you to anyone as my husband." I say excitedly and he chuckles.

Angie laughs, extending her hand to Juan. "Hey, I'm Angie. Adrianna's makeup artist and hairstylist."

Juan shakes her hand, smiling. "Nice to meet you Angie."

"It's nice to finally meet the man Adrianna talks so much about." she laughs, nodding.

He looks over at me, raising his eyebrows. "All good things I hope."

I roll my eyes, laughing. "Of course."

She smiles, looking at the two of us. "So, let's get started." she says, patting the chair in front of the lit up vanity.

I point to the couch behind my chair. "You can just sit there." I tell Juan who is already on his phone. He looks up, nodding as he takes a seat.

"Those are the looks you're going to be modeling for the shoot." Angie looks over at the rack full of lingerie, pulling my hair back with a clip.

I turn to look at it and smile. "Those are hot." I nod. "I love them."

"And that's a wrap." smiles Jeff, the photographer for almost all of the Victoria Secret shoots. "Wanna see all of the looks?" he asks once I've walked out of my dressing room wrapped in a silk robe.

I nod, walking to where all of the cameras and screens are. "Yeah, definitely." I turn to Juan who's been standing in the corner, watching me almost the entire time in awe. "Wanna see?"

He nods quickly, walking over to us. He pulls me into his side as Jeff pulls up some pictures, skipping through a lot. "Okay..." he trails off, looking down at his camera that has all of the photos on them. "these are the best ones, in my opinion. I think these will probably be the ones that end up on the site." he nods, pointing towards a big screen.

"Woah." I hear Juan say from besides me.

I smile, looking at all of the pictures as they scroll by the screen. This shoot had been several hours long, taking place on many different sets, but it was totally worth it. I looked great if I must say so myself.

"You look gorgeous, mi amor." Juan nods, looking down at me.

I smile, kissing his cheek gently. "Thank you."

"You really do." Jeff nods, once all the pictures have played out. "I think everyone will be very happy with how this shoot turned out. You're a natural." he smiles.

I laugh, shaking my head. "You guys are too sweet. Thank you." I nod.

I thank everyone who played a part in the shoot and head into my dressing room alone with Juan to change. "Is there any way we can smuggle all of that lingerie out of here in your purse or something?" Juan asks once he's shut the door behind him.

"They send it all to the house in a few days for me to keep, you weirdo." I laugh, shaking my head.

"They do?!" he asks with wide eyes.

"Yes." I nod. "You've seen how much lingerie I have. Do you seriously think I buy all of that for myself?" I ask, laughing.

"I love your job." he smirks, walking up to me. "You looked beyond gorgeous out there, mi amor. Seriously." he smiles, resting his hands on my waist as he plants a soft kiss on my lips.

I wrap my arms around his neck, pulling him in for another kiss. I smile into the kiss as his hands make their way into my robe. "Juan, not right now." I laugh, shaking my head.

"You always say that and we end up doing it anyway." he teases, beginning to untie the robe.

I push him away gently. "Yeah, well this time I'm serious. I'm technically still at work." I smile, reaching for my clothes.

He frowns. "You're boring."

"I love you too." I smile in a teasing tone.
