"That took way too long." I sigh as Juan and I walk down the stairs, hand-in-hand.

He smirks as we walk towards the backyard. "It was worth it though, wasn't it?"

"Yeah, it was." I smile, slapping his ass right as we walk through our sliding doors that are completely open at the moment, leaving no barriers between the outdoors and our Livingroom and kitchen.

"Took you guys long enough." Joel rolls his eyes as he gets out of the pool.

I feel a light blush creep up onto my cheeks. "Yeah, I couldn't figure out which bathing suit I wanted to wear, and Juan kept me company." I nod, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.

He gives me a suspicious look but just shrugs, letting it go. "Are you getting in?" he asks, pointing at the pool.

"I don't kn-" I yell, feeling someone pick me up. I look down at the arms wrapped around my waist and immediately recognize them as Juan's by all the tattoos. "Juan! No, no, no!" I laugh, kicking my feet, but before I can even say another word I'm thrown into the pool. As quick I'm submerged into the water, I jump up, the water reaching up to my breasts. "I hate you!" I yell, throwing my baseball cap and sunglasses at him.

He's laughing loudly, along with everyone else who had a chance to see what he did. "I just had to." he continues laughing loudly, so much so that he doubles over, not being able to stop. He looks over to see me glaring at him. He stands up straight, putting both his hands up. "Okay, okay. I'll get in too." he gets a running start before jumping into the pool as well.

"I probably look like a wet dog." I say while holding back a laugh as Juan walks over to me.

He smiles, shaking his head. "Not at all." he moves the wet hair out of my face, kissing me gently.

I finally let out a small laugh, shoving him gently. "Whatever."

We continue on like that, joking and swimming with everyone else who's in the pool for at least an hour and a half before I finally decide to get out. Juan stays in, play fighting with Joel. "They better not drown each other." Manuela laughs as I grab a towel from the pool chairs. She's seated right next to me, having just gotten out not long before me.

I nod, laying in the chair next to hers. "Yeah."

"How have you been?" she asks after a few moments of me scrolling through Instagram.

"Great." I smile, nodding. "Really happy. I'm glad you guys are staying with us for a few days."

"Yeah, so am I. Although I feel like we're invading your privacy so soon after you guys got married. You probably want some alone time." she shrugs.

I scoff, waving my hand dismissively. "Not at all. We got plenty of alone time in Paris." I turn to look at her, giving her a reassuring smile. "You guys are fine."

"So when are you guys breaking the news of the marriage?" she asks.

Juan and I have been so busy getting settled into our place and getting our guest rooms ready for Juans family that we haven't even had time to announce anything yet. I was honestly loving the idea of nobody knowing yet, but I know we have to do it soon. We've been married for almost a month. I draw in a sharp breath, shrugging. "Soon. Definitely soon." I nod. "It's gonna be almost a month, the news is gonna slip out of one of our guests mouths if we don't just say we're married already."

She laughs, nodding. "Yeah, you guys are definitely lucky you've been able to keep it a secret for so long. I swear I thought the whole world was going to know the day right after."

"Yeah, I know." I look over at Juan who's busy holding Joel's head under water. "Yeah, I'm gonna talk to him tonight about doing it soon." I turn my attention back to her, nodding.

We talk for a few more minutes and once I feel that I'm dried off enough, I walk over to the seating area right in front of our pool where Angelica and Eduardo are at. "You guys aren't getting in the water?" I ask, sitting next to Eduardo.

He chuckles, shaking his head. "No, I think we're fine." Angelica nods quickly in agreement. He gives me a small smile. "This is truly the most beautiful home I've ever seen, mija." he nods.

I smile, looking down. "Thanks. That means a lot, dad." I look back up to see him smiling happily at me. I know he gets super excited when I call him dad, and it shows. He knows it means we're making progress. It slips out of me sometimes, and its weird how natural it feels when it does. Eduardo is still what I usually call him, but dad slipping out every once in a while feels kind of nice too.

"It really is, Adrianna. I love it a lot." she nods, placing a hand on his thigh in agreement.

"Thanks." I smile. "You guys are welcome to come over whenever you'd like."

"I think Hailey would love to take you up on that offer." Angelica laughs lightly. "She loves you so much, Adrianna."

I smile, looking at her sun bathing. "I do too. And I hope she does take me up on the offer." I nod, looking back at them.

"Tonight was so much fun." I smile, resting my head on Juan's shoulder as we look out at the hills that extend past our backyard. The sun set a few hours ago and the only light we have is of the moon and the hanging light above us. We're seated on the couches of one of our seating areas, all alone. Juan's parents are upstairs getting ready for bed, and Manuela is in the family room watching a movie she put on the TV.

I feel him nod. "Yeah, it really was."

I look up at him, sitting up straight. "So, I've been thinking..."

"Mmhm."

I look down at our interwind hands. "I think we should probably tell everybody we're married."

He stays quiet for a moment, so I look up. He has a soft smile on his face. "Yeah?"

"Yeah."

He nods, chuckling. "Yeah, okay. Right now?"

My eyes widen and heartbeat quickens. "Right now?"

"The sooner we do it the better, bonita."

I nod slowly. "Yeah, okay."

And so, together we both go through all the pictures our photographer emailed us days after the wedding, selecting a few here and there to add to each of our posts. Juan and I each write our own caption, sharing what this all means to us. "3...2...1..." Juan counts down, and we both post it at the same time.

I let out a nervous yell, tossing my phone over to the couch across from us. "I don't wanna look." I shake my head, squeezing my eyes shut.

I hear Juan chuckle from besides me. "How about we both turn off our phones? We wont have to see anything until tomorrow morning." he says, cupping my face in his hands, making me open my eyes.

I smile, nodding. "Yeah. Yes, let's do that." I stand, going to grab my phone. I take a seat again, pushing the 'off' button and shutting down my phone. "I feel like I can breathe again." I say, letting out a deep breath.

Juan nods. "Okay, I'm glad you feel better. You do understand we aren't gonna be able to hide from all the opinions forever though, right?" he asks.

I nod, rolling my eyes. "Unfortunately yes."

He kisses my temple. "We'll get through it together, don't worry." he stands, extending his hand out to me. "But just for tonight, let's not worry about it."

"Okay. Yeah." I nod, taking his hand as he leads us inside. We press the button and our sliding doors shut behind us, causing Manuela to turn her attention to us.

"Come watch this movie with me!" she exclaims, pointing at the TV. We both nod, and I take Juan and I's phone, placing them on the kitchen island closest to us before walking over to our couches to watch the movie.

The huge news we've just shared to the world is the last thing on my mind as we all sit around and watch the movie.
