"I think we did great." Juan chuckles as he shuts the door for the second group of people that came into our home for interviews.
I nod as we walk over to the family room. "Yeah, I think we did too." we just finished our last interview of the week, the one in Spanish.
"I wanna take you out to dinner or something later. For our one month anniversary." he smiles, kissing my cheek.
I laugh. "One month anniversary? Really? Do people actually do that?"
He shrugs. "I don't know. But we're doing it."
"I mean, okay. Sounds good enough for me." I nod, shrugging.
He pulls me in for a firm kiss. "A month. A whole month of being married to each other. Isnt that crazy?" he asks, caressing my hair gently.
I nod, smiling. "It is. But, I love it. I love you." I give him a soft peck. "I love this all. It doesnt feel real how amazing things are going."
"Don't jinx it!" he chuckles, shaking his head.
"So where are you taking me?" I ask excitedly.
He shakes his head. "It's a surprise."
I frown. "Seriously?"
"Mmhm." he nods. "I will tell you this though: dress up in sweats and then bring something to change into."
"...Why not just go dressed?"
"It'll take a few hours to get there. You'll probably want to be comfortable for the ride." he nods.

"Hawaii?!" I ask in shock as we board the jet.
Juan chuckles. "Yep. I know you might be sick and tired of Hawaii by now, but I don't know," he shrugs. "I thought you'd like coming back to where we got married."
I shake my head, pulling him in for a kiss. "I'm never gonna get tired of Hawaii. It's our place. As long as I'm with you I'll never get tired of it." I smile.
We take our seats and enjoy the flight over to Hawaii.
"I didn't book us a suite or anything, its kinda just a dinner type thing." he shrugs, chuckling lightly.
I laugh. "You're crazy. Flying all the way to Hawaii for dinner?"
"I can book one if that's what you want." he smirks as we get into the car that's waiting for us.
I quickly shake my head. "No, I'm fine with this. I want to spend the night in our bed." I smile.
He nods, looking out the window. "Yeah, okay."

"Ahh, you guys! I cant believe you actually came." Laila laughs, pulling Juan and I into a hug.
"I cant either. This was all a surprise." I laugh, pulling away.
She smiles, looking over at Juan. "I was told." she waves her hand dismissively. "Anyway, I set your table aside, as always."
We walk over to what now feels like 'our' table in silence. Candles are all scattered around the table, making for some beautiful lighting. "This is beautiful, Juan." I nod after Laila has left to get our drinks. He's looking beautiful as well, in one of those flowy shirts that fit him perfectly with a few buttons opened, exposing his tan chest.
"Te ves hermosa, mi amor." he smiles, looking at me with loving eyes from across the table.
I smile, biting my lower lip as I look over his face in the low candle light. "I love you so much." I let out a small laugh.
I'm wearing a pretty basic dress with leopard print on it, and my naturally wavy hair up in a messy bun. I had brought two different outfits with me onto the plane with me tonight, one was extremely fancy and the other—the one I'm wearing is comfortable and pretty causual. I also brought a shit ton of makeup with me, but decided to go for a more natural look as well.
"I love you more. Seriously." he shakes his head. "I don't think you understand how much you mean to me."
I smile. "You know I hate the paparazzi and the interviews, and just everything that just comes along with being you."
He chuckles. "Is this going anywhere?"
I laugh, nodding. "But, I deal with it all only because I know this is important to you. Seriously. I don't think you understand how much you mean to me. I would've said 'fuck this' to everything if it weren't for you."
"God, I love you so much." he smirks, standing slightly so that he can reach over to give me a kiss.
I smile, letting my hand find the nape of his neck, only deepening the kiss. "Incoming drinks. I'll try to get out of your hair quickly so you both can continue eating each others faces." Juan chuckles, pulling away from me to take a seat again. Laila pulls out her pad and pencil. "What can I get you guys?"
We both order quickly and she turns towards the kitchen. "How do you feel about both interviews airing tomorrow?" I ask Juan.
He shrugs. "I don't know. Don't really feel any kind of way about it... I'm just glad we got the news out there and people can move on with their lives and let us live ours." he looks at me. "How do you feel?"
"Fine I think. Kind of nervous. I hate the fact that Eduardo and Oscar had to be brought into it. I know the interviewer found it weird that Oscar walked me down the aisle instead of my dad." I sigh. "That'll probably become a whole thing."
"It was only in one of the interviews for like less than thirty seconds, do you really think they'll bring it up again?" he asks.
"And you think they wont?"
He looks at me for a few moments. "I mean..." he shrugs. "I don't know. Maybe. Maybe, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there, okay? Don't worry about it for now."
I nod. "Yeah, okay..."
"I'm much more interested in seeing how beautiful you looked in those interviews." he smiles, trying to change the topic of conversation to a lighter one.
I hold back a smile, rolling my eyes. "Whatever."
