(Y/n)'s POV

Sir Tokoyami, Momo, and Valentina met up with Katsuki and I after Symphony took my father into custody. Valentina scolded me for fighting in my condition, but I knew she was really just worried. Momo and Sir Tokoyami informed us that the higher-ups on the League had been apprehended and that after Captain Tomura's death most people just gave up. Tomura truly did have so much power over them and it was almost terrifying to see how pointless all of the League felt without him. Katsuki brought me over to the Bakuhatsu and I was immediately pummeled by the crew, except for Sero who was still keeping his distance. Katsuki shooed them all off and explained that we still had business to attend to. Sir Tokoyami, Momo, Val, Katsuki, and I were all going to meet up with Todoroki and the sirens at the nearby shore, while everyone else was to make sure the Spanish fleet and the League stayed in place. I wanted to just go to my room on the Bakuhatsu and take a deep breath for once, but we did not have the liberty to do so with my father still in play.

My feet touched land for the first time in months and a wobbled a bit, not used to the ground being so steady. Katsuki placed his hand behind my back to stabilize me, but it was in such a casual way that it almost seemed like second-nature for him. We spotted the Todoroki, the sirens, and my disgruntled father floating in one of Symphony's bubbles. We made our way over and immediately my father tried to play games.

"(Y/n)! Darling! I'm so glad you're safe! You wouldn't believe it, apparently someone on the League had been brainwashing me this whole time, but I'm back to normal now. Please save me! These monsters are going to kill me!" My father pleaded and I just rolled my eyes. I should've known that he wouldn't go out quietly.

"You're right, I wouldn't believe it," I scoffed, looking into his desperate eyes with a chill that surpassed Todoroki's ice quirk. My father seemed taken aback by my heartless statement and couldn't find any words to fight back.

"What do you think we should do with him, Desoto?" Symphony asked, Katsuki's head instantly turning towards me as Symphony addressed me in a way that was unfamiliar to him.

"Desoto? (Y/n), why is this creature calling you by your mother's maiden name? Inform her at once that you are a proud (L/n), ruling family over Maracaibo!" My father declared, foolishly thinking that I had any family pride that tied to him.

"I am a proud Desoto, but I am not a (L/n). Look at yourself-- how could I find pride in someone so pathetic?" I insulted him, taking in his pitiful state. His inferiority complex would always be his greatest downfall. To outsiders, he appeared to be this powerful man who was aware of his strength, but they couldn't be further off from the truth. This deplorable creature was afraid of everything and everyone. If he thought they might realize their own strength and ability, he would put in the efforts to remove them immediately. He always lived in fear of others. Maybe if he would have learned the importance of allies and the strength of bonds he wouldn't have turned out this way, but that was not the case.

"Lisander... dare I even call you 'father'..." I started, ready to finish this all. "You've have brought nothing but pain to the people around you. Everyone you see here has been directly affected by your actions. You've hunted these beautiful merfolk, driven Sir Tokoyami and Lady Momo out of their homeland, sold Valentina to pirates, and tried to murder both Captain Bakugo and myself-- and we are just a few of your surviving victims. You see strength and you fear it, for you know you are weak. Maracaibo would be embarrassed to know how pathetic you truly are. I am not afraid of you, for I know you are incapable of taking me down. With that said, Symphony... release him," I instructed and Symphony followed my orders, sending my father crashing into the shallow water. I strolled over to him and pulled him to his feet by grasping his the neckline of his tunic. I turned him around to face away from all the people he had hurt, for he didn't deserve to feel something so pure as guilt. I pulled my saber from out of its holster and raised it to his throat, resting my chin on his shoulder and wrapping my free hand around him to hold his arms down. His breath hitched as the sharp end of my blade floated above his skin, dancing with the concept of death.
