??? POV
"Any word on the location of The League?"
"Yes, Captain. Rumor has it that they're headed for Maracaibo, this will be the second time they've docked there this month. A little strange if I do say so myself."
"You're right, that's very strange. If they're headed to Maracaibo, but she's still missing... then someone else must have her. Ready the ship, we're heading out."
"Where to, Captain?"
"The only place in which we might get some answers-- Siren's Chapel."
Bakugo's POV
"Jirou! How did we get over here?" I called out, leaving (L/n) down by my quarters.
"I don't know, Captain! I was making sure to avoid it, but we somehow got pulled closer!" Jirou panicked, desperately trying to change our course.
"I swear, those stupid sirens are all voice and no sight! This happens every time!" I whipped out my cutlass and slashed the ground below me in anger.
"Man overboard! Man overboard!" Sero shouted from the crow's nest.
There was only one name that was going through my head-- (L/n)!
I dropped my cutlass and made a dead sprint towards the center of the ship.
"Which way?!" I asked frantically, my head darting back and forth looking for a sign of her.
"Over here!" Kirishima waved me over as he began untying knots holding up a tender. I rushed over him and pushed him away from the tender. I wasn't about to let her drown after everything I went through to get her. "Sir? Captain, what are you--"
Splash.
(Y/n)'s POV
Warmth enveloped my body, yet I still shivered. I hadn't been able to see for a long time, but that didn't concern me. I just let myself sink deeper and deeper towards the promising voices. Eventually, I felt so close that I could hear them speak and not just sing.
"It's alright, you're safe now. No one can hurt you here."
I felt as if the voices were the only things that spoke truthfully. They weren't trying to convince me my father was an evil liar, they weren't trying to brush over my mother and sister's deaths, they just reassured me. There was no one else in their stories except me.
"Dear, you can wake up now. You don't need to hide."
So I opened my eyes.
I was lying on cold stone and my hair was sprawled across my face. My surroundings were blurry and I couldn't identify where I was or how I had gotten there, but I wasn't afraid. I slowly pushed myself to a sitting position with my hands and combed my hair behind my ears. I began to take in the dripping walls around me.
"You're awake. Can you breathe okay?" A pair of heterochromatic eyes peered into mine. I gazed down at the red and white haired boy who was resting his head on his hands. I gasped when I noticed the tail of a koi fish.
