(Y/n)'s POV

"Captain Bakugo," Daudi called out to Katsuki. Thankfully, we had the opportunity to rest for a bit and collect ourselves, but there was business to attend to that couldn't be put off any longer. Katsuki was sitting at his desk and I was leaning against it, Daudi in the doorframe waiting for the captain.

"Some of Tomura's insects are acting up again-- I believe they are all just growing restless. We need to make a decision and take action soon," Daudi explained his purpose for calling upon the captain.

"Yes, you're right, we need to get on that. Come on, (Y/n), let's go settle this," Katsuki agreed and stood up, motioning for me to follow.

"And then can we--" I started, but Katsuki already knew exactly what I was going to ask.

"Yes, then we can take that piano. I know, I know... I'm not going to forget," Katsuki finished my request, causing me to bounce out the door in glee.

We followed Daudi off the Bakuhatsu and onto the League. The atmosphere was chilling-- I felt cold even with Katsuki's coat covering me. I gripped the edges of the over-sized sleeves tightly, as if the tighter I held them the safer I was. I yelled at myself internally, irritated that I was letting the memories get to me. He's dead... why are you acting so pathetic.

That's when I felt a hand rest upon my shoulder. I looked up at Katsuki who kept his gaze straight ahead, and then I turned my attention to his hand on my shoulder. I took a deep breath and released it, relaxing with Katsuki there to support me. You're not alone this time.

"Kurogiri, we're here to discuss your punishment," Daudi jostled the sleeping pirate a bit and informed him of the situation. Kurogiri was being monitored by Uraraka, Iida, and Midoriya. He was not tied up and did seem to be causing the three any issues.

"Why isn't he in restraints?" Katsuki asked and I was curious to know myself.

"Do you really think a little rope is going to stop me? I could have been gone as soon as Tomura hit the floor if I wanted. I'm here out of my own will and I'm not going to resist," Kurogiri explained, his voice a slightly different tone than I had remembered.

"It's true, he hasn't put up a fight and as actually stop several of the unruly pirates from making matters worse," Uraraka added. It was very strange, but we couldn't complain.

"So why haven't you left, Grape Spray? You taunting me or something?" Katsuki snapped, his personality shining like a diamond.

"I was supposed to protect the Captain and I failed. I did a lot of miserable things that got me to this point all at the sake of doing my job, and I even managed to mess that up. If I were to leave, guilt would consume me. I deserve whatever you have decided and more."

"Don't think for one second your appeal to the emotions is going to change my mind about your consequences. You followed him blindly, Kurogiri! You had the opportunity to save people, yet you killed instead! There is no excuse! You can't possibly believe that you were helping the Captain by letting him fall succumb to All For One's manipulation, could you?!" Katsuki snapped, grabbing Kurogiri by the neck brace and pulling him to his feet. I could tell that there was more to their relationship than what Katsuki had told me. Kurogiri was always civil to me when I was on the ship and he always seemed to be the only sense of logic Tomura had. It didn't make sense that he would follow Tomura's every order. I also couldn't ignore that Katsuki referred to Tomura as "the Captain". This definitely went back to when he was part of the League.

"Katsuki, there are just some people you are willing to do anything for. You should know, right? You're telling me there is something you wouldn't do for her," Kurogiri attempted to reason with him and motioned towards me. Katsuki grit his teeth and looked as if he were going to cry, murder Kurogiri, or both. I was less put off by Kurogiri referencing me and more so by his use of Katsuki's first name.
