Chapter 10: Conflict

"HE WHAT!" Bucky yells furiously. He turns around headed towards the door before he can reach the door you jump in front if him and block the door "Keep your promise buck." You say to him not moving from the door "How could I not be mad that he kissed you!" You slowly put your hands up "Bucky you need to relax okay, you won't solve anything out of anger." You say trying to calm him down "Come on, sit back down and relax." You carefully grab his arm and sit him on the bed. You quickly go to your dresser and grab your earbuds and ipod. You sit down next to Bucky and he puts the headphones on and you play music (Hungry eyes of course) and you see him starting to relax. The song finishes and he takes the earbuds out and hands them back to you. "Thanks, doll." He says relaxed, you grab his hand "Okay, now. I know your upset about what happened so am I but I'm okay now and he's in a cell." He looks at you kind of sad "Did you e-enjoy it?" He says looking down "I- I was caught up in the moment, it just happened." He lets go of your hand "That wasn't my question." You look down too and you get nervous "I don't know." He looks back at you confused "How do you not know if you enjoyed it or not?" You give him a sad look "I don't know okay. I- I didn't pull away but I didn't want to kiss him either." He stands up "So then you did like it." You stand up from the bed too"Bucky I didn't say that, it's complicated okay." He looks back at you sad but upset at the same time "No y/n it's not. Look, I need some time to think." He turns around and walks to his room. You stand there in shock "Why was he so upset about it? I get he doesn't like that he kissed me because he's bad but he seemed sad about it. Why?" You think to yourself laying on your bed. You have a million things running through your head when you hear your stomach growl. You head down to the main room to eat something. You see Steve eating some cereal and you decide to get some too and sit down with him. "Hey Steve, what's up?" You say sitting down with your bowl of cereal "Oh hey y/n, nothing just having some breakfast before training. What about you, I heard some yelling coming from your room." He says avoiding eye contact with you "Oh um yeah, I had an argument with Bucky." You say looking down at your bowl "I'm actually glad I was able to see you alone, I wanted to talk to you about something." You say looking up at him  "Okay go ahead." He says still avoiding eye contact "Um, when I was in the cell in Paris I got my memories back d-dad." He shoots his head up looking at you in shock. "You re-remember?" You give him a smile and shake your head. You both get up and he gives you a tight hug "I missed you so much y/n." You laugh "I missed you too dad." You both break away from the hug and you see him crying a little bit "It broke my heart the first day I saw you and you didn't rememeber me, sorry if I was acting weird it was just hard for me to see you and you not remember me." You smile at him "It's ok dad, I get it." You both sit back down and continue eating breakfast "I wonder when Bucky will remember me." You look up at him confused "You knew Bucky?" He smiles "Yeah he was my friend before I had you, but I lost him. Im pretty sure hydra went after you since you were my kid and I knew Buck." He looks up at you and smiles "I'm just glad I have you both back, even if only one of you remembers me." You giggle "Me too dad. Hey, what if the three of us have a talk maybe it will help him with his memories. I mean all Loki had to do was say my full name and they all came flooding back." He smiles at you again "That sounds like a great idea, but didn't you say you both had a fight?" Your smile fades and you look back down "Yeah we did." He grabs your hand "Do you wanna talk about it?" You look back at him and give him a small smile. You decide to tell him everything that happened and that Bucky is locked in his room. "I'm sorry, he kissed you!?" You pull your hand back "Really, thats all you got from that?" "I'm sorry y/n but Bucky has a point. I can see why he's so upset I mean you both do have a really strong bond and you can tell it affected him pretty bad." You look down "Yeah but somethings off, it's like he wasn't just upset he was sad." He smiles at you "Has it occured to you that maybe he likes you?" You look at him in shock "What? Bucky's my best friend, sure were really close but he doesn't like me that way." Steve laughs at how your rambling "Well from the way your talking id say you like him too." You start to blush "What? No I don't, he's too old." Steve bursts out laughting "You don't think we all are old? I'm 105 after all and Bucky is 107 and your 87." You look down "I'm just confused right now okay. If Bucky says he needs time then that's what I'll give him." Steve smiles at you "Your a good friend y/n, better than I probably was. I trust that with time he'll come around." You give him a small smile and you both finish breakfast. Steve goes to training and you go exploring since Tony doesn't want you training just yet since you barely got back. You wander around the tower and in the elevators when you reach the very bottom. It's a room full of cells, you walk in curiously. That's when you see him, you see Loki in a cell pacing back and forth and you slowly walk up to him "Hello darling." You smiles and turns around "To what do I owe the pleasure." You keep your distance from him "I wanna talk." He gives you a smirk.
