Chapter 22: Betrayal

You feel the sun beam on your face and a nice breeze come through the window, you slowly open your eyes and you feel Loki hugging you from behind and you turn around and see him peacefully sleeping. You smile at how cute he looks sleeping and you kiss him, he slowly opens his eyes "Good morning to you too darling." He says with a smirk "Morning Loki." You say with a smile sitting up and stretching and getting out of bed "Leaving already darling?" He says sitting up "Well I do have to get ready for the day Loki." You say laughing turning around "Are you sure, you could stay here with me for a bit." He say smirking "As much fun as that sounds, I have training today." He pouts "Do you have to?" You smile almost finished changing "Yes Loki." He gets up "Okay then darling, have fun training." He says kissing you on the cheek "Thank you Loki." He sits down and starts to read a book and you leave to bucky's room, you don't bother knocking and walk in "Hey buck rea-" you stop in your tracks and see Bucky shirtless with bruises all over his back. "Bucky! What the hell happened to you!?" You say rushing towards him and he quickly puts his shirt back on "Nothing doll I'm fine." You lift his shirt up "That's not fine Bucky, your whole back is bruised!" He moves your hands and pulls his shirt back down "Just leave it y/n." You give him a confused look "What's going on with you? Why won't you tell me what happened?" He looks away "It's not important." You get upset "Bucky you either tell me or I force it out of you." He hesitates for a second "It was Loki.." You stand in shock "What.. " he looks up at you "It was Loki, when he found out I broke up with you he came in the training room where I was at and he starting fighting me and he threw me into the weights." You look at him and you get filled with anger "He what." You say with an angry low tone "I'm okay doll, I kind of deserved it after hurting you so bad." He says trying to calm you down, you ignore him and leave the room "Wait y/n!" He tries to stop you but you slam the door behind you using your powers and keep it shut so he can't get out, you walk back to your room and you slam your door closed and lock it "Oh hi darling, I thought you were-" before he could finish his sentence you grab him by the throat and slam him on the floor getting on top of him "Y/n what the hell!" You hold his arms down stairing into his eyes "If you ever hurt Bucky again I will kill you do you understand me?" You say with a very calm angry voice, he looks at you surprised "But he hurt you I had to-" you pick him up and throw him through the door and you start walking up to him "Y/n please s-stop." He stutters struggling to get up "I said do you understand me." You say grabbing him by the shirt "Y-yes." You let him go and he falls to the floor and you let Bucky out of the room and he sees Loki on the floor and your door destroyed "Y/n what did you do.." He says shocked "What I had to, I like Loki but I love you Bucky because your my best friend and my family." He puts his hand on your shoulder "We don't cause pain y/n, please never do that again." Your look turns from angry to sad "I- I'm sorry." You look around and see what you've done and you run "Wait y/n!" Bucky screams, everyone comes out to see what all the noise was "What the hell happened?" Tony asks looking around "It was y/n." He says with a low tone "Brother are you alright?!" Thor says running to Loki "I'm fine brother." Loki says sitting up "What made her do this? I thought she liked Loki." Nat says confused "I caused this." He says sadly and everyone looks at Bucky confused. You run away into the woods and back to the place Loki took you, you finally get there and you collapse and start crying "How could I do this?" You say sobbing "What's wrong with me!" You scream shaking the ground, after a bit of crying you sit by the waterfall with your knees up to your chest. Back at the tower they take Loki to the med bay "Well your injuries aren't too bad, just some minor bruising and scratches." Banner says to Loki "Thank you banner." Loki says clenchihg his throat "What happened Loki? What made her do this?" Loki looks down "I did, I hurt Bucky and she found out." Banner looks at Loki confused "Why did you hurt Bucky?" Loki doesn't make eye contact with banner "Because he broke up with her and caused her pain and suffering and I had to do something about it. I don't know why I felt such anger I just did." Banner thinks for a moment and laughs "Well if I didn't know any better I'd say you love her." Loki shoots his head up and blushes "I s-suppose." Banner lightly puts his hand on Loki's back "Well I'm glad you care for her so much but you have to remember Loki, y/n and bucky's relationship is strong I mean they've been through hell together. It's just like they say, they will always have each other no matter what." Loki looks at banner "Yes I know, I just wish she and I had that kind of relationship." Loki says kind of sad "Well why don't you try and make that kind of relationship with her, I mean she already trusts you more than we do and you both get along great." Loki smiles "Your right, thank you banner." Loki gets up and is about to leave "Where are you going?" Banner asks confused "To find y/n." He says leaving the room in a hurry "I know exactly where you are darling."
