Chapter 20: The break up

You are completely taken back by what Bucky just said "W-what..." He still avoids looking at you "I can't be with someone who can't confirm her fealings about me." Your mind and heart are racing "What are you talking about Bucky, I want to be with you." He gets upset and finally looks at you with tears in his eyes "No you don't, you can decide weather you want to be with me or Loki." You start to tear up "Bucky I told you it's different between me and you and me and Loki." He starts to raise his voice "How? How is it different!? I know you wanna be with him because I've seen the way you look at him!" He starts crying but his expressions are still angry "Bucky i-." He cuts you off "No y/n, I'm sorry but I can't handle being played anymore." You start crying "Please leave." You get up and walk go the door and leave and you stand there for a few seconds wondering if that really just happened and your mind is racing, it feels as though your heart has just been ripped out of your chest and you hear Loki come out of your room "Hey darling I fini-." Before he could finish he sees you crying and you quickly run away "Y/n wait!" He yells running after you, you run outside the tower towards the streets and you go to a hill away from the people and Loki is quickly trying to keep up with you when he stops and sees you clenching your chest, you scream and fall to the ground and a huge power wave comes out of you and breaks all the trees around you and breaks the glass of the buildings. You are sobbing and Loki slowly walks up to you "Y/n are you okay?" You look at him "I l-lost him Loki." He kneels down to you and hugs you "It's okay darling, everything's okay." He says hugging you and rocking back and forth "It hurts Loki, it h-hurts so bad." You say choking on your own words "I know it does darling, I know." You continue crying and you can't seem to breath properly "Shh, it's okay. Breath darling." You try to calm down but can't, there are too many emotions at once. "I c-cant." You say still choking on your words. "Feel my chest y/n, breath with me." He hugs you a bit tighter and you can feel his heartbeat and his chest going up and down. "Breath with me." You try to calm down a bit and are able to breath normally. "That's it, just keep breathing." He says still rocking back and forth slowly hugging you. "My head hurts." You say passing out       "Y/n?" He asks picking up your head but you don't respond. He picks you up and carries you back to the tower, when he gets to the tower he goes to your room and lays you down and kisses your forehead. He quietly walks out of the room and becomes angry he storms to buckys room and bursts through the doors but he isn't there. He walks through the hallway and runs into Nat "Where is barnes!?" She looks at him confused "He in the training room. Why?" He turns around quickly and runs to the training room, he bursts through the doors and sees bucky punching the punching bag, Loki slams the door behind him and locks it, bucky is startled by the door being slammed and sees Loki "Go away Loki I'm not in the mood." He says going back to the punching bag." Loki becomes very angry "Barnes! You will pay for what you have done." He yells walking closer to bucky, he turns around confused "What are you talking ab-." Before bucky could finish his sentence Loki punches him "Loki what the hell!" He says getting upset, Loki hits bucky again and they start fighting, Loki uses his magic and blasts Bucky into the wall, bucky falls to the ground and Loki picks him up "You are a pathetic human!" He yells at bucky and throws him into the weights, bucky struggles getting up "Loki s-stop." He says trying to get up "You hurt my pet, and you will pay for it!" He yells pulling out his blades. He grabs bucky and cuts his face, bucky hits Loki and he falls down "She hurt me too!" Bucky yells at Loki, Loki gets up and tackles Bucky to the floor holding the blade to his neck "Come near her again and I will kill you James." Loki says angrily, he gets off Bucky and leaves the room. Loki walks back to your room and sits down next to you "I will protect you forever darling." He whispers and lays down next to you. After a while you finally wake up and see Loki next to you, he notices that you woke up and sits up "Are you okay darling, does your head hurt?" You sit up too and clench your head "Yeah it does." Loki gets up "Hold on pet." He leaves for a few minutes and comes back with medicine and water "Here drink this." He gives you medicine and you drink some water "Thank you Loki." You say with a fake smile "You don't have to pretend with me y/n, I know a fake smile when I see one." You look down and a tear falls "It hurts Loki, I lost my best friend." He hugs you "You didn't loose him, you still have your best friend your relationship is just no longer romantic." You cry a little bit "But it still hurts." He rubs your back "I know it does darling, but I'm here and I will stay for as long as you need me." You look up at him and smile and burry your face into his chest "Thank you Loki." He is surprised a little bit but smiles and continues hugging you, after a bit you both pull away "How would you like your finish our book?" You smile "I would like that a lot." He gets up and gets the book and you both lay down and he reads to you for a while until you fall asleep again." He notices you fell asleep and marks the book and lays it on the night stand, he lays down next to you and you scoot closer to him and he falls asleep too.
