Chapter 23: Acceptance

Loki is on his way to you knowing exactly where you are, eventually he finally reaches where you are and slowly walks through the wall of vines and he sees you sitting by the waterfall with your knees up to your chest sad. He slowly walks towards you and you notice him but you decide not to react, "Hello darling." He say sitting next to you but you don't answer him and he stays quiet for a bit "Are you okay?" You lift your head and look at him confused "I should be asking you that shouldn't I?" He laughs "Don't blame yourself y/n you were just protecting Bucky which is understandable." You put your head back down "I'm a monster." You mumble "Y/n you are no monster." He says in a stern voice "Loki I hurt you, it's like I couldn't stop." You say shedding a tear and he turn your face towards his "Darling, I understand how you must feel right now, but you must believe me you are not a monster. You are the sweetest person I know, you are always taking care of others and making sure everyone is happy and you always put everyone's feelings before your own. Are you telling me a monster would do that?" He says with a soft smile, you jump at him and hug him crying a little "There there my pet, no need to cry I'm here." He says hugging you back. "How'd you know I'd be here?" You ask still hugging him "Well I know you darling and I know how much you love this place the second I brought you here. It wasn't hard to figure out." He says chuckling "I'm glad you came." You say pulling away "Of course I came y/n, I guess I should apologize." You look at him confused "For what?" He looks down "For hurting Bucky, I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry." You lift his head up "It's ok Loki, you only did what you thought was right." You both smile "But seriously, you ever hurt him again I'm gunna hurt you." You both start laughing "Should we start heading back?" He asks with a smile "I think so." He gets up and holds out his hand and you take it and you both walk back to the tower. You both finally reach the tower and you see Bucky on the couch in the main room, he sees you and immediately run up to you and hugs you "Doll please never do that again." You hug him back "I promise Bucky, I'm sorry for everything I shouldn't have done that." He pulls away "Its ok doll, you were just protecting me, we protect each other its what we do remember. We stick together." You smile "Always and forever." Loki interrupts "Bucky I apologize for hurting you the way I did." He turns to Loki and smiles "Its ok Loki no hard feelings." You all smile "Okay well I'm hungry and very tired from crying." You say with a giggle "Yeah so am I." Bucky adds "I will get some food and we can watch a film if you both like." Bucky and you look at each other and you both nod your heads in agreement "Sounds good." You say and the three of you all walk in your own directions, after a bit of preparing you all meet in a room with a huge tv and a huge couch with blankets and Loki brings the food "I brought pizza." You smile brightly and jump up "Yay I love pizza." You all get your food and sit down on the couch and get covered, you are sitting in the middle and Bucky is to your right and Loki is to your left and you all watch a movie and enjoy your time together. A little through the movie you feel yourself drifting towards Loki and eventually falling asleep on his shoulder, Bucky notices but cracks a small smile "Hey Loki." Loki turns to Bucky "Yes?" He asks "Do you like y/n?" Loki blushes a bit but tries to hide it "Yes I do." He smiles "Yeah I can tell, but I can also tell she likes you too." He's kind of taken back by what Bucky just said "Thank you Barnes." He says with a smile "You don't seem so bad Loki and if y/n really likes you and thinks your a good person then so do I." Loki smiles and glances at you asleep "Thank you Bucky I really appreciate it." Bucky smiles and looks back at the tv "But hurt her and I'll have to kill you." He says in a serious voice and Loki glances at him and smiles and looks back to the tv. After a while the movie finishes and your still asleep "I'll take her to her room." Loki says picking her up gently "Ok, see you both tomorrow." Bucky says picking up the mess from the room, Loki takes you to your room and lays you down gently and lays down next to you, he looks at you and can't help but admire you "I love you y/n rogers." He says in a soft voice "I love you too Loki laufeyson." You mumble huddling closer to him, he smiles and ends up falling asleep as well. You both peacefully sleep through the night in each other's arms.
