"xiao, is not like other children. he is a very mature boy for his age," ver goldet, the adoption house's manager told you and your husband childe. you looked at him and he gave you a smile before turning back to face the warm-smiling lady. "he knows many things that adults do, and is quite intelligent. we here at the orphanage don't really know much on his background, but i assure you he is a very charming and good boy."

you blushed a little.
when you and childe came to the orphanage, there were several kids there. you were looking around while childe spoke to a few kids in the main lobby, and you saw a door opened to one of the rooms. when you found xiao, he was playing the flute, which seemingly no child could possibly be able to do without proper years or months of training at least.
