you flung your bow to the wide before collapsing into the snow panting heavily. training was always the hardest part of your day, but today seemed even worse. you havent been eating much, so you were a little low on energy - and the only reason you havent been eating is because there just wasnt any time.
"youre tired already? its just been two hours," your mentor, childe, stood above you. you couldnt really see his face as the sun's glare was shining right down, and your eyes just couldnt bear that pain. his tome was playful, yet stern. "didnt you want to impress the tsaritsa? you gotta be on your feet! c'mon lets go another round!"
childe was pumped up, but only a groan of refusal came from you as you still couldnt catch your breath. you always knew how brutal childe could get, but you underestimated every single lesson because you thought you could make it. every day was a different training tactic.
