"has anyone seen my rabbit?" you asked, opening the cabinets and checking inside. you had a stuffed rabbit that you got as a present and when you woke up this morning it was no longer in your room.
heizou, who was in the living room, perked his ears up, but kept his eyes down on the book he was reading since ayato got up from his seat and helped you look. "maybe someone took it."
"yeah probably, i saw a note on my desk saying they would return it but its been so many hours." you sighed and childe patted your shoulders.
"we'll find it. how about we go outside to look for it?" he asked, and he ushered you outside with him. once the door closed, heizou placed the book he was reading down on the desk.

a thief huh... strange. i never knew that it would be so soon that another case would show itself to me. maybe y/n wont be able to find out who took their rabbit, but i will make sure to get to the bottom of this.
