you poked your head slightly above kazuha's desk as he was writing away on the paper. your eyes darted around his beautiful face, he noticed you, but didnt say anything and just kept writing.
you grumbled quietly. "kazuhaaaaa..."
"hmmm~" was his response. he didnt look at you, and continued to write down in his paper. the sounds of his quill pen inking down on the parchment paper felt aesthetic. the sounds of koi fish could be heard jumping up and down from the water in the backyard garden, where kazuha had kept his zen garden and small pond.
you grumbled once more, breaking the soft silence of the dew morning. "kazuhaaa~"
"hmm~ what is it?" kazuha asked, still not looking at you. his focus was on you, but his mind needed to be on his paper, as it was just some affairs he needed to deal with and draft it out for heizou. of course he would pay attention to his little leaf, but he needed to work now.
though he didnt tell you that.
you quietly went away and into your room, gathering up all the stuffed animals you could find. honestly you felt like a little girl whenever you were around him. although he wasnt as tall as everyone else, he was definitely taller and older than you — and it felt somewhat cozy to be your little girl self again.
you went back to his office and stuck your head above the desk again, but not fully, so kazuha could only see your pretty eyes above the desk. you silently placed the stuffed bunny toy on the side of his table.
kazuha took notice of that, but his eyes went back to his writing with a smile. "yes y/n~?"
"can you look at me," you said softly. "or i'll put another one..."
kazuha smiled once more, but didnt speak anymore. he just kept his eyes fixated on the paper.
you placed another stuffed toy on his desk, and when he ignored it, you placed another and another and another until the sides of his desk were filled with your stuffed toys.
kazuha let a chuckle escape. "y/n, my eyes may be busy but my mouth isnt. i can talk~ just tell me what you want."
"i want... you to look at me?" you giggled, and kazuha knew he had been defeated. he decided that he would give you what you want and then get back to his work, he couldnt with you being adorable like this. such a pity you had to beg for his affection.
