your workers were terrified of you, so they tried to go as quickly as possible to finish up the remaining touches of your new inn. ever since the peace contracts across the nations, you've decided to build an inn in the middle of the path towards liyue for travellers to rest and give a place for families to stay in.
it was just after the war, so many families lost their homes. you were only pressuring your workers because guests were coming today, and you needed the rooms and decorations to be done before they arrived.
