"oh shenhe darling we're going to be late! would you please get the cups ready for me?" cloud retainer asked, flapping her wings as ganyu rushed into the kitchen carrying all different kinds of plates and bowls. everyone was preparing for the party for the new year, and ganyu was probably the most anxious out of everyone there. shenhe sighed a little as she had been bossed around all day, and she kinda just wanted to rest. you were enjoying yourself though, sipping some wine in secret with kaeya behind the racks.
he chuckled a little as you coughed when you swallowed. the wine was spicy, and you werent used to it. "oo thats spicy... hahaha"
kaeya patted your head. "i can see that youre still a child, and cant handle your drinking eh?" kaeya chuckled, and you shook your head as you shoved his arm a little.
"i can handle my liquor thank you very much." you took a few more sips just before you both heard footsteps coming your way. you two both looked up to see some of the servants of the event castle coming towards you. since you two werent allowed back behind the racks, they looked surprised to see people here.
one of them pointed you both out to the head servant. "hey! what are you kids doing back here?"
"scatter!" kaeya yelled as you both dropped the wine glasses and ran for the stairs as the servants chased behind you two.
laughing and dodging past the others in the kitchen, you and kaeya both made it up the stairs. you turned around to look at kaeya. "are they following us?"
kaeya turned around to check. "no i don't think so-"
you couldn't see where you were walking, and accidentally slammed into someone and caused them to spill some drink. you bounced a little backwards and kaeya caught hold of you, but you knew you messed up really bad. you looked up to see diluc, a frown on his face. "tsk, kaeya is teaching y/n bad behavior again."
