🦋 when we were children
venti and you lived in a small village, away from the city where all the grown up kids went after they finished their playtime with other kids here. slowly, as the years went by, many families moved south towards the city, and some moved north to a town you never heard of.
it was just you, venti and a few staggering little friends whose family liked it in the peaceful village surrounded by valleys of flowers and trees. everyday was the same, making flower crowns and preparing honey tea for the grown ups.
you had gotten your shoes dirty, and had just gotten reprimanded by your mother. she in turn kept you in the house for the afternoon, so you were just bored, staring at the fish swimming in the pond from your window.
"hey, y/n, isnt it too early to be in the house?" venti, passed by on a bike, stopped in front of your window. your face brightened up when you saw him. his side braids were getting longer.
"my mama grounded me... for getting my shoes dirty." you picked at your nails, sulking about it. venti chuckled a little.
"that sucks haha~ but hey, why dont you come with me? i'll tell your mama, and she will let you." he suggested, and you nodded your head.
"okay!"
venti rode his bike towards your front door and knocked on it. your mother opened the door and greeted venti. she knew him, and she liked him too since he was always kind to you, but also got you in trouble time to time.
