After All These Years

Chapter 54

As the hours passed by, it wasn't hard to tell that we were both nervous, mostly me more than him.

We quietly sat outside in the snow together.

The snow softly fell on us as we sat under a dead tree.

"Stop eating the snow."

"But it tastes good."

-I replied, a handful of snow in my hands as I turned my head towards him.

"That's the bacteria that you're tasting. It's disgusting."

"You just love to ruin everything don't you?"

-I say, dropping the snow from my hands as I glare at him.

"You were going to get frostbite if I hadn't said anything."

"Oh sure Tom, your hands are way colder than mine and you know it."

He rolled his eyes at me as he looked away from me.

"Exactly-" 

"It's probably time to get ready now."

-Tom says, cutting me off as he got up.

"Eager to get a dance with me, huh?"

-I jokingly said to him as I stood up as well, leaving a smirk plastered on my face.

Rolling his eyes at me again, he grabbed my arm before teleporting us to my dorm.

"Just don't take too long, I'll come back when I'm done."

"Ok fine, you little creep."

And with that, he left, closing the door behind himself as I locked it before beginning to get myself ready.

I was in the washroom when Tom came back.

He stuffed his wand in his pocket before locking the door shut.

"(Y/N)."

"Yeah?"

-I asked from the washroom, staring into the mirror as I fixed my hair.

"You haven't gotten ready yet? What have you been doing this entire time?"

-He rudely askes, walking to the bathroom.

"God calm down Tom, I was fixing my hair."

"It shouldn't have taken this long."

-He murmured under his breath as he stared behind me at me from the reflection of the mirror.

"Oh shut up, it's not as easy as changing out of a "waffle weave shirt" like you did, besides I'm almost done, I just have to put on my dress."

-I snapped at him, quickly leaving him in the washroom as I went to my closet, pulling out my dress before heading back to the bathroom.

"Ok shoo, get out, I'm gonna change."

"Ok just don't-"

"dON't tAke sO lONg, I know."

-I cut him off before mimicking him and closing the door shut.

~ You guys don't get mad at me for this one being so short, by the time you see this chapter the next one will already be out, I just needed to to end the chapter so it would be a better time skip ~

~ I promise you guys I wanted this to be a way longer chapter but I felt it would seem better if I saved all the dancing and drama and whatnot for the next one, so forgive me if this upset you ~
