AFTER SEEING DEAN SALVATORE, MAEVE SLOAN APOLOGIZED TO nova, after spending a few minutes with dean, he helped her realize that despite nova inviting the dealer, nova wouldn't have ever wished death upon dean
after everyone ended up leaving, lily salvatore was the only ones who stayed with dean. charlie had driven maeve back. the car ride was awkward to say the least, the two didn't bother to talk about the elephant in the room. as soon as they got to her apartment, they ended up going to bed, seeing as in just a few hours charlie had to catch his flight to los angeles
as the time came, charlie told maeve that he would just grab an uber to drive him to the airport. maeve insisted on taking him, but charlie decline her offer. their goodbye only consisted of a hug and a "text me once you land, so i know you got their safely"

MAEVE SLOAN FOUND HERSELF AT SEATTLE GRACE MERCY WEST hospital, right next to dean salvatore's hospital bed. today was her last day in seattle, washington. she actually had her flight to boston, massachusetts in about two hours. on tuesday, december seventeenth is the day they start shooting knives out
a part of maeve was hurting, she didn't want to leave dean's side until he was discharged. but work calls, which is why she was here to say goodbye to the blue eyed blonde. his hand squeezed hers softly as she sat on his bed "can i tell you something?" he spoke up. as maeve nodded, he continued "the day i surprised you in vancouver with sofia. as you were filming, i noticed the way he looked at you" he admitted "and seeing you two together at the wedding, he still looked at you the same exact way, like if you were the most beautiful woman he's ever laid eyes on. i don't blame him" he chuckled softly "but um, i can tell that he really likes you, like it's literally written all over his face" he jokes making maeve snicker as tears welled up in her eyes "and i see the way you look at him, a part of you won't admit it, but you feel something for him. yet the other part of you, is holding back" dean salvatore was the one person who knew maeve better than she did herself, and it was the one thing maeve always liked and disliked about him "getting shot made me realize that life is too short, don't live your life being afraid to take risks" he noticed that she was holding back a few of her tears, he gave her hand a squeeze "what i'm trying to say is... you, maeve carolyn sloan, deserve to be happy"
