HIS RIGHT FOOT WAS PUTTING MORE PRESSURE ON THE GAS pedal as he was speeding down on the empty highway. he glanced over to the brunette girl in the passenger seat "so let me guess you had another fight with your dad?" he questioned
maeve glanced away from the window to look into the blue eyes that once made her feel like she was on cloud nine. she wanted to leave mark and lexie's apartment after her fight with mark it was 1am and she didn't know why he was the first to come to mind "yeah" she whispered softly before turning her attention back to the window
"you all right?" dean removed his eyes from the road to lock his eyes with maeve who turned to look at him
she grinned softly "you might want to keep your eyes on the road, playboy" she said as she lifted her left leg to her chest
dean grinned as he turned to glance at her again "what? you think we're gonna crash?" he questioned, eyes glued to her
"i haven't decided yet" she grinned as she locked eyes with his
in a swift move dean gear shifted and pressed the gas pedal. maeve smirked as the two keep their eyes locked on each other. upon noticing her smirk, he grinned. she wasn't afraid of the fact that he was driving over 100mph she was used to it
in a swift second, dean pressed the breaks, the car coming to a complete stop just under the red light. maeve's chuckles was all he heard and it was simply music to his ears
maeve was shaking her head slightly with a grin, she glanced over to the window before glancing back at him. she was taken by surprise when he leaned over and softly brought his hand around her neck
"you always did love the adrenaline" he said in a soft tone, their faces just inches apart. she grinned before he brought their lips together. she was hesitant at first, she knew she'd regret it later on, but in that moment it felt right and kissed back
"we agreed on taking this slow" she whispered as she pulled away with a grin
he chuckled as he nods "okay...they say slow and steady wins the race... so how about you and i go slow and steady at my place?" maeve's eyebrows perked up, but before she could speak, dean beat her to it "see, this is what you do to me. god i've never been one to use pick up lines" maeve laughs, as dean nudged her with a grin
