AN: Judging from the title, who do you think will be in this chapter? Doesn't matter, does it, since you'll be reading it anyway just below. Also, I rewrote Hunting the Huntress, so check that out. I replaced gangbangs with tentacles..... khkhkh.
Time: A Day Later
"Where are you taking me, Thals?" Percy called out to the hyperactive daughter of Zeus who was tugging him along.
Why were the girls so eager to spend time with him?
"Shut up and follow me, Jackson!" She called out indignantly, tugging harder. "It's a surprise! In case you couldn't tell!"
Oh no, Percy could tell that it was a surprise alright, as he stumbled over another.... something on the sidewalk, cursing the blindfold. He could almost hear the silent chuckles of the passers-by, turning his head to glare at them, despite the blindfold.
What resulted was just a scary facial expression, which was still enough to do the trick, as they scurried along.
He had no idea what was happening, except the fact that he regretted inviting Thalia on a date.
He had stumbled up that morning, and after checking in with Calypso to see that she was alright from the previous day's passionate fucking, he had moved to invite Thalia on a date.
He regretted it the instant she excitedly rushed back to her room, ignoring the jealous stares of all the others who could catch onto what he had just asked her.
He wondered where they were going, but judging from the smells and sounds around him, they were somewhere in downtown Manhattan.
"It'll be sooooo good! I have been planning for this day for ages, and I have even confirmed everything via Iris Messaging, and arranged everything..." Thalia went on excitedly, making Percy smile as he took note of her softer, girly side shining through her usually tough exterior, excited just for a simple date.
He stumbled over something again, his attention broken from the girl's cute rambling as he tried to catch his balance. "Thalia, slow down! I just keep.... fucking stumbling over every single fucking thing in this shitty little sidewalk!"
He could almost feel several glares pointed at him from Ogygia after his cursing.
He sighed, looking up towards the sky, though he could not see, nor feel anything over the steady humdrum and bustling of shitty city life and daily commuters racing to get everywhere on time, their tight little schedules packed as tight as humanly possible.
The dust stung his skin slightly, drying his lips and messing up his already messed up hair. He could feel the dryness on his tongue- and the urge to spit out the dust in his mouth was becoming too tempting. These things never happened with sand on the beach! He felt a cool bead of sweat roll down his forehead from the heat of the city, a stuffy, depressing heat unlike the temperature back on Ogygia's untouched, tropical climate.
He wondered about the quaint little town he had been to with Hestia, after Annabeth, a town whose name he never knew. He wondered if one day, it would be like this- downtown Manhattan Version 2.0.
This time, he wore much lighter clothes, just a long-sleeved black t-shirt- Amon Amarth this time- and slightly ripped skinny jeans with casual black and red sneakers. The clothes hugged his body snugly, showing off his well-defined muscles while hiding most of his scars, and everyone had complimented his new look. He had a two-day-old stubble darkening his chin and well-defined jaw again, and his eyes shined with a newfound enthusiasm about everything that he had denied for so long.
