AN: I somehow managed to make that sound family-friendly. Also, I've heard the Isle has got some sweet updates since I played it last. Do you think I should reinstall it?
Time: A Day Later
"Why are you obsessed with cars, Percy?!" Piper groaned as she was dragged to the showroom. "We just came here to get some new clothes!"
"And why are obsessed with new clothes?" The Dark god snapped back, dragging his date by the arm through the glass door.
"Uggghh....." She made a sound like a zombie, before dragging her feet reluctantly through the door into the high end, shiny showroom with glass on every surface and a lot of shiny, new automobiles, each looking better than the previous one, all looking as if they had come out of fashion magazines. Although her father was quite a famous celebrity, Piper had rarely seen such luxurious transport, and her face reflected it, as she looked on in wonder, hanging off Percy's arm as she glanced around, her jaw slightly slack in wondrous admiration.
The mortals were so ingenious in coming up with these things- Piper felt as if she would never be able to understand how they managed to make it work. Perhaps Athena knew. Hades, who was she kidding- Athena probably knew.
Piper had expected a lot of things when Percy asked her for a date. The mall had been ticked off her checklist, and she had been eagerly awaiting the movie or restaurant that followed.
Another car showroom was the last thing on her bucket list for this date. At least it wasn't a football stadium- she shuddered at the thought, shooting a little prayer to the gods, before she willingly trailed behind the overexcited Dark god.
"How may I help you?" A well-dressed assistant in a suit approached, giving them a shirt bow before straightening, projecting a very professional atmosphere.
Percy gave the attendant a small smile. "I already have a car booked. It was supposed to be picked up from your showroom. A Bugatti Chiron, the number is-"
He fumbled a bit with his back pocket before Piper helpfully held up his Hephaestus brand phone, a bland look on her face.
Shooting her a small, thankful smile that made her thighs tremble, Percy gratefully took the phone, turning to the attendant as he scrolled through several messages, finally spouting off the required string of numbers.
Piper smiled up at the Dark god, lost in her own thoughts.
If the two of them had not been taken by Jason and Annabeth, she would undoubtedly have gotten together with the son of Poseidon. As it was, she had harboured a little crush, a silly childish infatuation which had developed into a blazing fire somewhere along the line, causing her the regular teenage angst on who to choose, leading to several sleepless nights.
And then, just when she had reconciled herself with her emotions, burying her emotions of love and affection for the son of Poseidon as friendly affection, instead concentrating her affections on Jason.
And just then, the son of Jupiter had to be a hero and save them all, at the cost of his own life.
She had shed many tears over him too, but had a much better time recovering than Percy. She had felt jealous of his fatal flaw, personal loyalty made him completely and solely dedicated to Annabeth, unable to ever see her in a romantic light. That, coupled with his natural denseness saved him from the drama that accompanied her futile attempts at flirting with the demigod.
And then, Annabeth had died. His main anchor snapped.
She felt tears prick her eyes. She had been sent to many juvenile schools and marked as a delinquent, but she supposed it was mild compared to what the others went through. Thalia and Annabeth had run away from home and survived for many years on the road. Leo was an orphan. Percy had been horribly abused by his step-dad.
