CHAPTER 4

CHAENG

"Please leave me alone, Jackson. You're so annoying! You jerk, you're interfering with my working hours." I exclaimed in front of Jackson, who was sitting comfortably in my office's mini lounge.

I despise it when they don't have any work and come to the CEO's floor to bother me. Lisa should fire them, that's all I'm saying. They're a pain in the ass. I don't want to get old quickly.

"Why, it's comfortable here, and I don't have any work to do." He said that made me even more frustrated, and I put the pen I was holding in my desk and looked at him.

"Well, I've got work, JACKSON WANG. Get out!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, causing him to jump up from his seat and flee.

"They're starting to ruin my day once more. Oh, my goodness. I'm going to throw Bambam out of this building if he comes." I murmured and returned to work on the papers on my table, which I'd given to Lisa later to sign.

She's also in the meeting room, and she just told me to stay here and she'll handle the meeting inside; aside from that, it's just an update on the Empire, particularly the layouts and security.

When I look at the picture frame on my table, it is a photo of me, Jisoo, and our daughter Champagne when we return home, and it is our first photo together in a nice angle except at the hospital before.

An hour had passed when I could hear Lisa and Bambam's voices, which became clearer when they came to a halt in front of my desk, and I didn't mind. As a result, Bambam joined Lisa in the meeting room.

"So I'll just go check the supplies." Bambam spoke up, and Lisa immediately responded.

"Take precautions. Please contact me if there is a problem. I also need to contact the people I've assigned to work in other countries."

"Noticed," he told Lisa.

"Goodbye, Chaeng." I was taken aback when Bambam called out my name, and I looked at him, nodded, and waved my hand.

Lisa didn't even look at me or say anything to me. She takes a step backwards into her office.

"She's stressed out yet again." I said this while noticing her aura. That's her demeanor when she appears tired and stressed at work.

"Do I need to contact Jennie?" I ask myself this because Jennie told me that if I see Manoban, I should call her, but she's also busy, despite the fact that their building is right next to the company building.

Lisa purchased the land in front of the building and on the side of the road for the construction of the Park as well as a parking lot. And, while we're on the subject of Jennie, My phone is ringing in the corner of my desk, and she is calling. It's her phone number.

Jennie Wifey is calling..

I drop what I'm doing and answer her call without hesitation. "Yes, wifey?"

'Are you busy?' She utters.

"A tad. Why? If you want to ask me about Lisa, she's in her office. You are welcome to come if you so desire. She appears stressed and tired."

'Don't worry about her.' That is something she says that perplexes me. "What?"

'You're the reason I called. If I want to contact her, I can do so. I'll call her directly, not yours, hubby. I'll call her later, but can we speak now?'

"We're talking right now." I responded with a little more laughter. 'I mean in person, not in this type of conversation,' she says.

I replied again, frowning. "What are you talking about? Is this a serious matter that needs to be discussed?"
