CHAPTER 7JENNIE
"I'm finished calling her. Thank God, she's still alive." When she finally returned to our room, I cast a glance at her. We arrived in Italy after lunch because they had a stopover in Milan due to their excitement before landing at the Venice Marco Polo Airport, and it irritates me because we were delayed for so long before arriving here, and then we were all knocked out of sudden.
When Moonbyul and Jeongyeon attempted to visit Seulgi's hotel room for us to get some dinner together, they were all worried and scared because she didn't respond to their knocking and pressing her doorbell outside her room. They are also unable to contact her because their phone is not with them and is charging. As a result, they rush through our door and knock as if there is an emergency.
Until my wife, Lisa, decided to call her, and she answered the phone. Thankfully, she is safe, and we can think clearly now.
"Where is she?" I ask her as I recline in our bed. "She's walking around the park like there's no one there, and we're worried because she didn't tell us she was leaving the hotel. That scumbag. Honey, my heart is racing inside my chest."
"It's part of our routine to be worried and scared of each other. Accidents are our life's twin, and we must take care of ourselves." I simply said, and Lisa chuckled as she looked at my screen again.
"If the twins are awake, Mom will call us. Let's go eat before we do anything else. If we don't get out of this room, I'm going to eat you alive, Ruby Jane." That made my eyes widen in surprise.
"I'm not even kidding. Tonight, you appear to be quite capable." She went on to say, and before she could get into me. I immediately stand up and walk past her.
"Let's get started. I'm starving." But deep inside, my heart is racing so fast, I explained.
If you're wondering why we're not staying in Manoban's Condominium here in Italy, it's because it's under maintenance and construction of the vacant units, so we can't use them, and they'd rather try some hotel accommodation.
Even the head of the condominium who Lisa was assigned to told Lisa that we could use the regular unit, but my wife insisted.
She wants to spy on how others use their services, and she's insane because of it, despite the fact that she's the leader of the business industry.
"Where would you like to eat?" When we all meet in the elevator, Lisa asks them right away. There are eight people in one freaking elevator, and they don't want to be separated. I'm grateful that the elevator is wide enough for all of us to fit in here.
"I did some research earlier to see where the well-known restaurants are in Venice, but unfortunately, the restaurant is temporarily closed." Chaeng simply stated the obvious.
"Wow, you did a lot of research, didn't you?" I make fun of her.
"Without a doubt. We must visit a well-known and well-known restaurant, particularly for the food." She defended herself, and I nodded.
"Then let's go to another restaurant," Jisoo suggested this time. "They have their own cafeteria here, so we can just stay here, and we have to enjoy the payment that we give to them," Moonbyul explained.
"Duh. It was all free, you freaking idiot, so we must stay here in this hotel to try their service as we planned to, plus I don't want to drive, I'm lazy," Jeongyeon replied, causing Lisa's squad to agree.
"What's the matter with them?" Chaeng murmured behind my back, and I just shrugged.
"Just inform Seulgi that we'll be staying in the hotel cafeteria." I informed them and did not issue any commands or speak to the girls. We had put them behind our backs and were walking in a straight line when the elevator door opened.
