CHAPTER 9SEULGI
"Would you please lower your freaking voice, Byul. They might hear us." Jeongyeon scolded Moonbyul, whose who are sus looking at them right now, and I just grin and cross my arms in my chest.
Yeah. After that, there was a breakfast incident in the cafeteria, as well as some squabbles between their couples. Jennie and the other girls decided to leave even though their planned hour to go to the mall was after lunch didn't happen, and they left at 10 a.m. because that's how paranoid and stubborn my friends are and Lisa and Jisoo arrived at my hotel room without notice or warning earlier to discuss their agenda by following their wives and girlfriends at the mall, which is still going on for about an hour.
I also told them that I didn't want to accompany them and would rather stay in my hotel room and rest, but they dragged me out of my room and forced me to dress like a spy. We're all dressed from head to toe. We have the appearance of ninja turtles and are ready to fight.
Who are we fighting, for example? If Jennie and the others see us, I'm not sure what will happen to them because I'm not even worried about getting involved in the situation, but I'm more worried about them because I'm pretty sure they'll end up from nothing this coming nights if they have other plans.
"I should have stayed in the car longer." I told myself this when the girls came out of the store in front of us, happily conversing with each other.
"Please accept my apologies. We're not bad or criminals; they're just after their wives and girlfriends." I told the saleswoman who was perplexed by my friends that I was with.
"Oh. Okay, ma'am. Have a nice day." The saleswoman sighed as she followed my stupid friends out of the store.
"Seul, where are you going?" I heard Jisoo ask me quietly, but I just ignored her and walked past them, stopping before they couldn't hear what I was going to say.
"I'm going to go for a walk around this mall and buy my own tuxedo. Allow your woman to have her girl time. You guys look so stupid for acting like Ninja Turtles spies." I simply said and continued walking towards the elevator, but I heard them curse at me because of what I had said, and then I got down at the first floor by using the elevator, where I saw the section of the tuxedo attire for formal attire.
I didn't take off the shades they told me to wear because they look so hot on me, and I kinda like it. While waiting for the elevator door to open, I also increase the volume on my phone, which is currently playing and connected to my airpods.
We were on the third floor of the mall not long ago, so it takes me a few seconds to get to the floor I want. There is also a ground floor, which I intend to visit after I've chosen my attire to see what's on offer. It'll be a long day here, so I need to unwind and relax for a while, and don't mind if my friends are following their wives and girlfriends.
So, as soon as the elevator door opens, I exit and proceed to the area where the formal attire is stored. Some people are staring at me, which I don't mind.
I kept myself busy and focused for nearly ten minutes while walking and selecting my outfit when someone caught my attention. He slimmed down, or should I say lost some weight.
"I'm not sure what he's up to here." I was about to walk away, murmuring to myself, when he noticed me because we were only one meter apart.
"Seulgi?" Despite the fact that I'm wearing my airpods, he says I smiled at him as I heard her pronounce my name.
I also reduce the volume of the music I'm listening to in order to converse with him. Isn't it just a minor inconvenience?
"Hey, bro, it's been a long time." He continued, and we exchanged a handshake. After what had happened before, I didn't feel anything from him. I forgive him and respond to his messages. I should be the one who is troubled by what I did and thought about them that day.
