CHAPTER 16LISA
"RETURN HERE IN THE HOTEL NO—" I stopped yelling at her when I heard the call end, and I looked into it frowning, not expecting her to end the call so abruptly. If there's anyone on the other terrace, please let us know. I apologize for the delay and for being too loud. Who wouldn't? Right now, I'm stressed.
"YAH! HOW DARE SHE TURN OFF THE PHONE?" I exclaimed and tud my foot on the floor several times, but I immediately regretted it because it hurt my foot.
"MANOBAN!" My wife screamed inside our room, and I got out of the terrace to call Seulgi because she didn't come to the souvenirs shop like she said she would, and she didn't. We waited for her, but she never arrived. My wife also informed me that she did provide Bae's address and that she intends to contact her one last time, but where the f*ck is she now?! It's been more than five hours since she hasn't arrived at the hotel.
"Why are you yelling and thumping your foot? If you try to break the terrace, just let me know and I'll kick you out." She exclaimed and asked me, her eyes glaring at me. Death's glare. Oh, sh*t, my priceless life. So I walk slowly to her and make puppy eyes because I'm not going to be kicked out of what she told me, but she's not buying it and it hasn't affected her the way I look at her. Oh, no.
Our luggage is also ready to be loaded into the van that will take us to the airport, but Kang Seulgi just told me to have a safe flight earlier, and she's staying here in Italy? Is she crazy? What is going on? Did she want to become a citizen of this country as well?
"Tell me what happened." She utters, and I lean back on the couch before telling her what we discussed a while ago.
"Hon. I'm not sure if you believe me or not." I utter while trying to appear serious about telling her about Seulgi's words, and she raises one eyebrow at me.
"Seulgi wants to stay even longer. She told me she's going to figure it out, so she's extending her stay in Italy, and she's been at the address you gave her for five hours straight. Dang." After I said those, I leaned back on the couch again, but this time I lay on her lamp, looking at the ceiling, with both feet on the arm rest of the couch where we are now.
"So that means she won't be joining us at the airport? Is that why you're yelling on the terrace because you're talking to her, who is most likely not listening to you? Am I correct?" My wife said, and I simply nodded because she was correct.
"Yeah. Baby, you've got it all." I responded.
"Leave her alone." She went on to say, That makes my eyes wide open and my mouth hang open.
"What?" I ask her again, looking up at her.
"Allow her to be Manoban. Allow her to fight her own battle. I know she's staying to prove something, or for whatever reason she's staying after seeing or meeting Bae during her stay in Italy. Let us trust her and wait for her to return or call us with the news, whether it is good or bad. We're relieved that she'll be staying in Italy rather than the other country. Honey. She's mature enough to handle such things, and we know where she is, but for the time being, we'll be far away from her, and all we can do is give her the trust she requires. At the very least, she informed us, and I am certain that the reason she wants to stay has everything to do with Bae. Hmm. So, babe, come on. Let's get ready and head to the airport. I'm already missing our twins. I desperately need to go home."
Following that conversation with my wife. We really packed our last things and stuffs before leaving our room and went to the parking area, and I know they're all wondering where the heck Seulgi is, and I just told them that she's dealing with something and not telling them the whole story because we really needed to get to the airport as soon as possible because the plane was already there.
