EPILOGUE

SEULGI

Difficulties and obstacles keep us on our toes, encourage us to change, improve, and overcome limitations, and keep us from falling into a trap of comfort and satisfaction. Just because things appear difficult and depressing now does not imply that they will remain so indefinitely.

One thing I'm certain of is that pain does not last indefinitely. If it does, everyone becomes a sadist, and there is no happiness in the world because everyone experiences pain at some point in their lives. It's okay to be uncomfortable because only by experiencing pain can you understand what joy feels like. Allow these emotions to pass through you instead of dwelling on them.

You have no control over what is going on around you; everything in this world is pre-programmed and orchestrated. Your decisions, on the other hand, give you a high level of control over your life at any given time. You have control over who you interact with, what you eat, where you live, what job you have, and how you behave.

Though external factors may influence these decisions at times, it is up to you how you respond to these influences. You only need to pull out when you feel like you're drowning in some of your decisions.

You must concentrate and be aware of your surroundings. You must accept and move on from whatever has occurred. Think about the present instead of the past or what might happen in the future.

When we are in the midst of a crisis, it can feel as if we are trapped in a hurricane that is pulling us in so many different directions, making it difficult to decide which way to go. The past has passed, and the future holds a plethora of unknown possibilities that do not yet exist.

While the past is frightening and the future remains unknown, the present is always safe and manageable. When you begin to question why life is so difficult for you, you begin to be unkind to yourself. Accept that you will not always be happy, win, or stay healthy. When you overcome one of these, you become stronger as a result.

You lose in order to win, so you don't lose. If you keep winning without losing, you won't be able to deal with the loss when it comes. To avoid overconfidence and complacency, you must first lose. Depression is caused by being overly optimistic.

When expectation fails, accept that and move on.

Life is unfair, and all you can do is keep moving forward while remaining aware of your surroundings. You must simply allow these feelings to pass you by, rather than dwelling on them.

Rarely, you have to let go of what you wanted in order to focus on what is required and thus alleviate the pain.
When life seems unbearable, you may want to give up; however, you can overcome by accepting the truth, holding on to a hopeful tomorrow, and doing what you can right now to keep going.

"Great. I'm done." As I stretch my arms in the air inside my office, I utter. I've been working on the papers I'm dealing with for three hours straight. Outside my office door, I can hear a couple of knocks.

"Please come in." I stated that after pressing the intercom that is connected inside and outside of my office, I unlocked the door using the button under my table that Manoban had requested to the rest of the squad's offices to ensure security.

And this is the person I am expecting to see as she walks in. "What brought you here, Minnie?" As she sat in the lounge area of my office, I asked her. And she appears to be at ease, relaxed, and at home.

"Why do they all despise me when I go to see them? I'm concerned about you two. Didn't you know?" I shake my head as she rants. Then I finish preparing my belongings so that I can return home as well. I'm desperate to get out of here. I needed to go look for something important.
