9 - I become a Primordial

I told Dresella to call Perseus to the court room. I was waiting with the others when after what seemed like two hours (time works differently here) Perseus came in dressed and hair still wet as if he had done it in a hurry. I was surprised because I knew he was not the type to be late but he must have been busy talking to Hades. I saw him dash to Hades' rooms in the morning.

I raised my eyebrow at him, "Sorry I'm late. I lost track of time". There was more to the story but he might tell me what he discussed with Hades.

Chaos chuckled before beginning "before we tell you why you were sent away, let us start the ceremony" "what ceremony" my son asked. How come doesn't he know about the Primordial's ceremonies? Didn't they teach it at the Camp?

"brother, you are a Primordial and there is a ceremony to induct you in court" Eros replied.

Perseus hesitates before nodding. I knew he turned down the offer to be a god. A Primordial is more powerful than a god. I look at Choas and nods. Chaos conducts the ceremony. At the end, Persues read the paper in front of him and said "I Perseus Nova Chaos, son of Lord Chaos and Lady Sekrit, Brother to Tartarus, Eros, Erebus and Nyx and the Primordial of Loyalty, Bravery, Weapons and Fallen Heroes and minor Primordial of Water hereby accept my role and oath not to use my position to my advantage but to protect the universe".

I felt proud of him and remembered when my own children took their oaths. It was a proud moment for me. I saw a throne conjure next to Eros and it was beautiful. I mean, it suited Persues' personality perfectly.

Persues

After I read the words from the paper that came in front of me, I could feel my powers reveal themselves and I felt stronger and powerful than I ever was.

Sekrit or I will call her mother smiled at me. I knew she felt proud . Everyone looked at me and Eros using his eyes told me to look behind me.

I looked behind me to see the most beautiful throne I have ever seen.

My parents and siblings all had beautiful thrones but mine suited my personality quite well. This throne was a far cry from my fath... Poseidon's throne and even much better than Zeus'. Take that God of drama.

It was blue, very much like my eyes but it also looked like I wanted revenge for what had happened to me.

I went to sit on it while the entire court with the exception of my family and Hades and Hestia bowed down to me. Mother and father looked proud of me and I could see it in their eyes. Hades and Hestia also shed dome tears. I had never heard of Hades shedding tears so this was a first.

I was a bit excited to hear the court proceedings. According to legend, Chaos is a wise judge but legends do not mention my mother.

How is it possible? After court, I went to my siblings "I have heard of you all through legends, but I have never heard our mother in them. If she is an important figure and a powerful Primordial, why is she absent and has no credit for protecting the Universe?".

"Persues, mother is the only person who can answer this question" Erebus told me.
