22 - I get berated for putting up a shield

My wife sits across me while I look over our plans and ensure that they are fool-proof. Adam and Amelia might be our children but they are merely pawns in our plan.

"so, how much have we accomplished?" she asks me. "dear, we are close to fulfilling our revenge once Amelia gets the leader and his team out of the Olympians' favor. After that is done, we will have everything we need to defeat Chaos and his family." 

She smirks "I cannot wait to be Queen of the Universe. It's a pity that Chaos has never married else I would have his wife killed." She tells me and leaves to prepare our dinner. Atleast we will get the pleasure of killing the other Primordials especially the long lost primordial Perseus Nova Chaos. I don't really believe he exists.

Luke

I hear someone screaming and look at Percy who pretends to not hear the screams and is busy in his wine. "Wait, did Percy put up the border again?" Zoe asks me and I roll my eyes before leaving for my room. 

I could hear Zoe and Percy argue about the border. They would make an interesting couple. Is this why Percy has not looked at one woman all this time? Despite his majesty's requests that he find a wife, Percy has refused to marry and her majesty is fine with that. I mean, Eros is still single but he is still a heart breaker.

Is Zoe the woman in his heart? If not who is?

Percy

I could hear someone screaming and drowned myself in my wine. Luke looked at me and when I heard Zoe ask "Wait, did Percy put up the border again?" I mentally groaned. She had already given me this lecture decades ago and I wasn't ready to hear her again. 

Luke had left for his room and I was about to do the same when Zoe held my upper arm stopping me. She stared at me and I groaned "Listen Zoe, I just wanted to keep spies out." "Yeah, BY BURNING THEM" Zoe had gone into full diva mode. I think I just peed in my pants.

"OK...OK...I'm sorry" I yell before she she went into temper mode and hurt me down there as she has done in the past. "Percy, you are going to remove this burning spell at once." "I will not Zoe, our enemies exist within the camp. I want to know who has snooped on us. This is my decision as the leader." 

Zoe stomps her foot in anger and leaves from there while I release my breath and look down. I did pee in my pants. That girl... sometimes I don't understand her. Damn, she is capable of making me and the other monsters pee in their pants with her anger and methods she uses for destroying her enemies. 

I mean she isn't merciful towards her enemies and now, she wants me to put down the burning part of my border when there are enemies roaming around us. I think she is in her cycle. 

"Percy? Why did she call you Percy?" a voice I hadn't heard in a very long time asked. Shit Chaos.
