58 - Reyna's first night

Once the coronation ceremony was done, the prisoners were let free and allowed to heal themselves. Apollo and Artemis set camps and offered ambrosia to the injured. I created a portal, "after you, Wife" I held out my hand to help her step through. She was hesitant but put her hand on mine and followed me. She gasped at the beauty of the room we walked into. If she's surprised about this room, how will she react to the rest of the palace? "My Lord, My Lady, welcome home" Dresella invites us with a plate a nectar. She actually knows what I like. I saw Gaia entering the room "Dresella, she is married only as per Earth traditions, not the ones of this planet, so she is still Reyna. Brother, since you and Reyna are not married according to our customs, she will be spending nights in a separate bedroom until the official ceremony."

What did I just see? 

The moment I stepped out of the portal, I saw the most gorgeous room I have ever seen. And Olympus does not even compare. I mean, this room is even better than the throne room. "My Lord, My Lady, welcome home." A woman dressed in green, wearing a headpiece on her forehead, and a white veil greets us with a plate of nectar. So, the Primordials also consume the same food as the Olympians, interesting. Lady Gaia entered the room, and I was quick to be alert. It was her allies who had been responsible for the hardships we went through to prevent her return. And now, here she stands, smiling as if she did not cause it. 

"Wife, can you hear us?" Lord Nova's voice brought me back to reality and I saw him and Gaia staring at me intently. "Reyna, I asked you if you were ready to follow me." She said and I nodded. I looked as He left the room eating the ambrosia. "Follow me". As I followed Gaia to my temporary quarters, I was amazed by what I saw. The walls were the same color as the room, but they were decorated by so many pieces of art. I guess they were collected from all over the Universe and just displayed along the corridors. 

"My dear, welcome to your temporary quarters. This is where you will be spending most of your time unless my family calls on you and until you will be wed." I walked cautiously into the room. My Gods, look at this room. This is not a room, this is enormous. I mean, I swear on Chaos that at least two throne rooms on Olympus can fit into this room. As I looked around, I saw a few pictures of myself, Hylla, and Scopio. How did he know about the favorite people in my life? "Surprised to see them here? Alpha reasoned with Nova to have pictures of your loved ones on display, so that you feel comfortable. Rest well. My parents will call on you tomorrow." Gaia left the room, leaving me alone.
