32 - my siblings squabble over who is the favorite of their mother

After I had returned from Olympus, I was angry at the stupidity of the Gods and Goddesses. Hades and Hestia were the only two of the sanest out of the bunch. I could vote for Artemis and Apollo but considering the way they treated my son, I would never call them sane.

(A/n - sry if my words about them sound offending. I do not wish to be killed by Zeus' lightening bolt)

"Did those arrogant beings finally turn down their belief of their superiority?" Eros burst into the room and had to duck at the blast i sent his way "mother, it's me Eros your favourite son" "you are not mother's favourite child, I am" Erebus comes behind Eros.

"No, I'm her favourite. Mother tell Erebus that I am your favourite." "There's no need my dear brother, we all know who is mother's favourite. It's me. "Tartarus joins us. They all come in front of me " mother, tell us who's your favourite."

"Several centuries later, and the question is still the same" my darling husband enters the room with a smile on his face and dragging Nyx with him.

"Father, you don't say, we all know that Nyx is your favourite. She's your only girl after all." Eros says. " Mother tell us please 🥺" Erebus whines.

I chuckle 🤭 "you boys are all my favourites, I cannot possibly choose between you four." " And what about me?" Nyx asks me. " My darlings, you are all my favourites no matter what how hard you make it for me to be a parent."

"Okay, what did our baby bro do that you looked furious before leaving?" I saw them looking behind me and knew that Chaos must have silently told them something behind my back. "Nova was being in my ass again. That temper of his will one day destroy the universe and I hope it doesn't happen." I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, we know. We saw what he did with Zeus and it was hilarious. After the  way Zeus treated him, he is lucky that Nova let him go on a small punishment. I would have rather made his punishment longer and more suffering." Tartarus smirks. "True, you should have seen the way he acted after the bolts were lifted. I wanted to dance around and celebrate but i had to maintain my mask in front of them. Anyway, we need to wait for this mysterious villian to reveal themselves and then once Nova gives the signal, we will attack them." I was about to leave the room "one more thing mother, I have noticed how Nova is the only one of us who is not married" Eros speaks.

"Yes, mother even Father has been trying to get Nova married to some nice girl who will be able to keep up with his insane life" Nyx follows him. "And you were quite insistent on getting all of us married" Erebus places his face on Nyx's right shoulder looking at me.

Well, they were right, I had rushed through their marriages but allowed Nova time to choose his bride. Nyx had Erebus and their five children by her side, Eros and his mortal (now immortal) wife Psyche had no children but were deeply in love and Gaia was in between Uranus and Tartarus. I mean after the way Uranus treated her (I did condemn him for it) she started a relationship with Tartarus.

"well, you caught me. I saw Nova's future and the woman he marries. The time for his marriage is approaching near, but will happen after the war." I reply to them all and left the room.

Chaos

When Sek left the room, everyone nodded and turned to look at me "What?" I asked confused. "You know this means Nova is mother's favourite child. She was in a hurry to arrange a spouse for us but for Nova, she is ready to wait."

Erebus smirks. "Look, I don't know what's going on but if your mother is involved, I'm out." I also leave the room.

Hello guys, this is just a filler chapter (isn't what these type of chapters are called?).

Well, it will be a while before I release another chapter cause I have really important exams and I need to focus on them. I act promise when I'll come back to writing a new chapter cause the system is known to change exam dates at the last minute.

This actually happened the last time and was the reason I had to pause writing in addition to the zero response of the readers.
