Meanwhile, on Chaos PlanetSekrit

After I returned from Olympus, I was still angry at the sheer stupidity of the Gods and Goddesses.

Hades and Hestia were probably the only two sane ones among the entire bunch.

I might have included Artemis and Apollo on that list once, but considering the way they had treated my son, I could no longer call them sane.

(A/N: Sorry if my words about them sound offensive. I really don't wish to be struck by Zeus' lightning bolt.)

I was still lost in my thoughts when the door burst open.

"Did those arrogant beings finally give up their belief in their own superiority?"

Eros rushed into the room.

I immediately sent a small blast of energy toward him.

He ducked.

"Mother! It's me! Eros! Your favourite son!"

"You are not Mother's favourite child. I am."

Erebus walked in behind him, looking entirely too pleased with himself.

"No, I'm her favourite!" Eros protested. "Mother, tell Erebus that I am your favourite."

"There's no need, dear brother. We all know who Mother's favourite is."

Tartarus entered the room with a smug smile.

"It's me."

The three of them immediately stood in front of me.

"Mother, tell us who's your favourite."

I stared at them.

"Several centuries later, and the question is still the same."

I couldn't help laughing.

At that moment, my darling husband entered the room, smiling as he dragged Nyx along with him.

"Father," Eros said dramatically, "you don't have to tell us. We all know Nyx is your favourite. She's your only girl, after all."

"Mother, tell us, please!" Erebus whined.

I chuckled.

"You boys are all my favourites. I cannot possibly choose between you four."

"And what about me?" Nyx asked, raising an eyebrow.

I smiled at her.

"My darling, you are my favourite too. All of you are my favourites, no matter how hard you make being a parent."

They all smiled.

Then Eros's expression changed.

"Okay, what did our baby brother do that had you looking furious before you left?"

I narrowed my eyes.

They were all looking at me suspiciously.

I had a feeling Chaos had already told them something behind my back.

"Nova was being a pain in my backside again," I finally admitted. "That temper of his will one day destroy the universe, and I sincerely hope that doesn't happen."

I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, we know," Tartarus said with a smirk. "We saw what he did to Zeus. It was hilarious."

"After the way Zeus treated him, he's lucky Nova let him off with such a small punishment," Tartarus continued. "Personally, I would have made his punishment much longer."
