Chapter 50: First Impressions

*Hermione's POV*

It was getting closer to the triple date, and I was about to tell James the good news that I got Lily to agree on this one date if he doesn't do anything stupid to ask her.

"Hey Prongs! Guess I'm the best person in the world. Better then you best friend right here." I said pointing at Sirius.

He gave me a look like how dare you insult me. James looked at me confused and then asked,

"How can you do that? Sirius here is always on the top of the list besides Lily."

"Well speaking of Lily... Remember the triple date plan I was putting together with Ginny. I got Lily to consider you asking her out for it. As long as you do it in a normal manner where it is not embarrassing to her." I explained.

James eyes grew big, and he had this goofy grin on his face. He grabbed me and gave me a big hug. Sirius spoke up and asked,

"A date with Lily.... How did you get her to consider that?"

"Well, Ginny and Regulus agreed to join, and I will be joining too." I shared.

"Won't you be fifth wheeling it Mione?" Sirius asked.

"No because I will be bringing a date as well. I just don't know who yet. Plus, I think your brother said he knows someone that would be a perfect match for me." I explained.

"Oh really... That will be interesting. Didn't know you were that type of girl to go on random dates." Sirius said.

I gave him a look that could kill. I turned on my heels and stormed away. I just went to the library and took that as my get away. I could not believe that Sirius would say something like that.

"UGH!!!! I swear that boy doesn't think before he speaks! Of course, I would like to go on a date once and a while." I muttered to myself.

"Sirius again????" A voice said from behind me.

I turned to see Regulus standing there smiling. He had the signature Black smile. I huffed and just nodded.

"What did my idiot of an older brother do this time?" Regulus asked.

"I was telling James about how Lily would agree to go out with him for our triple date. And then your brother asked about it. I told him how it is going to be Ginny and you, James, and Lily, and me. But then he said wouldn't I be fifth wheeling it. That is where he got me mad. I told him how you would be helping me find a date." I started to explain.

"Then he said that you were being stupid and wouldn't be that type of girl to do something like that."

I looked at him surprised. It was like he was there when it happened. But he was a very observant person. I just sighed and sat down at a table. Regulus joined me and snickered.

"So, you are saying you haven't found anyone to join our triple date." He asked.

I just shook my head and then said,

"Why would someone want to go out with me? I am the freaky witch that hangs out with all boys."

"Or you are so amazing and powerful that no wizard knows how to approach you because they are scared to be turned down. Also, everyone thinks Sirius and you are together. I may also know that Sirius is scaring possible boys away that would want to ask you out." Regulus explained. "I will find you a date for trip. I promise you that. He will be an upmost gentleman."
