Chapter 48: Dating Plan

I could not believe the rumors that have been spreading around the school about everything that has been happening in the past few weeks. I wanted to laugh at Lily when she found out that Ginny and I joined the Marauders.

"You are WHAT???" Lily asked shocked.

"They boys made us honorary Marauders. Can you believe this?" Ginny said all excited.

I just sat there quietly and did not say anything. So much have happened, and I was still processing everything. I could not explain everything, and my world was still spinning out of control. I turned to Ginny and Lily arguing about the Marauders thing. I sighed and spoke up,

"Lily please understand that the boys are good friends of ours and you will always be a big part of our lives as well. This is big change for everyone and something positive and good. I know you don't see eye to eye with them, but Ginny and I see a different side of them that is not shown always to the world."

Why was it that I always had to be the mother and control all the situations of my group of friends? Lily sighed and said,

"I can understand that, but I am just surprised that they let other people join. Those fou.... Three have always been a closed knit group and doesn't let anyone else join. But since you two showed up I can say that you have changed them for the good. Ginny you helped bring two brothers back together and everyone thought that their brotherly relationship was destroyed forever. Plus, Hermione since Sirius meet you, he has changed for the good. He is participating more in classes and I have heard from a lot of the girls that he has not once flirt with any other girls but you. I mean you are the missing piece that he needs to change for the better."

I gave Lily a look that she was crazy. I did not know what she was talking about. Sirius has not changed, and he was just being his normal self. I looked over to Ginny and she had smile and nodded to me. I just shook my head and walked out of the room. Before I got out of the room, I heard Ginny tell Lily that I was in denial. I snickered to myself and headed down to the common room.

"Vixen!" James yelled.

Everyone looked at me in the common room. I was not used to being called by my nickname. I walked over to James and saw he had this looked on his face. I knew he wanted something. I looked at Remus who was reading his book and he gave me a shrug. I smiled at him and asked,

"What's up Prongs?"

"I was wondering if you could help me with something." James asked.

"If it is about Lily I don't know if I can. But let me hear what you want." I said honestly.

He sighed and then gave me a look. It was about Lily. This boy was like an open book. Remus snickered behind his book and looked up and said,

"I told you."

"Oh, shush Moony. She said she might be able to help.... So Vix can you help?" James asked.

"What are you trying to get Vixen to help you with Prongs?" Sirius asked from behind me.

I turned to smile at him. He hopped over the couch and landed right behind me. Like always Sirius pulled me to him. I leaned onto him and felt relaxed. Being around Sirius always makes me feel relaxed. I just did not know how to describe it. I felt safe with him.

"James wants my help with Lily of course." I shared.

"So, are you going to help him? Does the great Hermione have a plan?" Sirius asked jokingly.

"I just might. But I first have to see what Ginny and Regulus think about it first." I said getting up.

Sirius tried to grab me back down, but I was too quick for him. He gave me a sad look and I said,

"What I can't sit around when I have to put a plan into place to help our dear friend here. So, don't give me that sad puppy dog face Sirius."

James gave me a smile and I went back upstairs to my room. There I found Ginny and Lily. I grabbed Ginny's arm and started to drag her down the stairs. Ginny was yelling at me and asking me why I was doing this to her. I stopped at the portrait and said,

"I need your help, but I want to explain it all at once when we find your boyfriend too. Because I need his help too."

Ginny gave me a look and I looked over to the boys. They gave us a smile and Ginny sighed and walked out with me. We walked to the library and there was Regulus. He is always here. He looked up and smiled to Ginny.

"Hey beautiful. What are you doing here?" Regulus asked and gave Ginny a kiss on the check.

"Hermione said that she needs our help out with something. So, I am here to hear what she wants." Ginny explained.

He nodded and looked over to me. I gave him a smile and said,

"Alright both of you keep this plan an open mind. I really think this will work."

They both nodded and I continued,

"I think you should go on a double date with Lily and James."

Ginny gave me a look and said,

"What? Where did you get this idea?"

"Well, I thought about it...."

"Alright but you have to do something too." Regulus spoke up.

"Really?" Ginny asked surprised to Regulus.

He nodded and I asked,

"Awesome.... But what is it that I have to do?"

"We will make it a triple date... Ginny and I. Lily and James... if she agrees. Also you and.......
