Chapter 33: The Big Decision

"I know Gins. I have made my decision up. I am going to go through it. I need to know and remember." Hermione shared.

Ginny nodded in understanding. Dumbledore walked over to Madam Pomfrey to tell her what Hermione's decision was. Madam Pomfrey nodded and came back over Hermione and asked,

"Are you sure Miss Reeves? This is going to be a hard long journey."

Hermione nodded. She felt arms tighten around her. Hermione forgot that Sirius was still holding her. She looked up to Sirius. He had a worried look. Hermione squeezed his hand and smiled.

"We will start it soon. After we do some research on it. I want to have some options to try. If that's alright with you?" Madam Pomfrey said.

Hermione nodded and they were dismissed from the Hospital Wing. They walked back to the common room in silence. Everyone was still processing the information. Hermione sat down on the couch and Sirius sat beside her with his arm around her shoulder. She smiled up to him.

"I want to know your guys' opinion."

"Well," Remus said and then thought about it.

"I think it's the best idea but it is very risky." Lily shared.

Remus nodded and James spoke up,

"We just want what's best for you."

Hermione nodded and looked over to Ginny.

"Hermione, you know that I will behind you on any decision that you choose. If you want to go through it, then I am right behind you." Ginny shared.

Hermione smiled at that. Remus could tell that Sirius was quiet and wanted to talk to Hermione alone.

"Wow look how late it is. I think I should go to bed. You coming James?" He asked looking over to Sirius.

Ginny and Lily caught on right away. They giggled and got up to walk away. Sirius and Hermione was left alone in the common room. Hermione turned to Sirius and said,

"You haven't said anything since the hospital wing."

Sirius just starred at her and said,

"I am worried for you."

"Oh Sirius! That is so sweet." Hermione said taking his hands into hers.

"Well, you are one of the bravest person I have ever meet and I just don't know how you do it." He stated.

Hermione blushed at that. She could not believe how much she likes Sirius. It just surprises her ever day on how sweet and a great guy he is as a teenager. She wanted to let him be that way forever. Sirius looked at Hermione with an eye brow raised and asked,

"What?"

"Nothing, it's just Sirius promises me that you will never change for anyone. Be the sweet and funny guy you are now." Hermione stated.

Sirius nodded and Hermione got up and kissed him on the cheek and told him good night. Sirius sat there for a few minutes and had his hand on his cheek. He could not believe that Hermione just kissed his, even if it was just on the cheek.
