Hermione shook her head no. She did not want her friends to worry about it. She need to know answers first before she worried anyone else. Hermione changed and then headed down to the hospital wing. She felt a hand on her shoulder, Hermione turned to see Remus was behind her. She smiled to him and asked,

"Where you following me?"

"I just want to make sure that you know that you have many friends that want to be there for you. I know how it feels to want to do it alone but," Remus was about to say but Hermione interrupted him.

"They are right behind you around the corner aren't they?" She asked with a sigh.

Remus nodded. He walked over to get her friends here. They were all in front of Hermione staring at her. She could see in their eyes worry. Hermione sighed and looked to all her friends. Hermione's eyes landed onto Sirius. He walked over to her and placed a hand onto her shoulder.

"Alright you all can come but you have to stay outside of the Hospital Wing. I will only have Remus come into the Hospital Wing with me." She explained to him.

"Wait why him?" Sirius asked confused and a little bit hurt.

Hermione grabbed his arm and dragged to the other side of the hallway. She faced Sirius and said,

"Sirius you have to understand that even though I know that you care for me and want to be by my side through this all but I think the best person who understands this situation more is Remus because he gets misunderstood always for who he is."

"I just want you to know that I want to be there for you Mione. I don't like seeing you cry or someone upsetting you. But if it's Remus that you want in the room with you then I understand. I only want what's going to make you comfortable with what's going on." Sirius said.

They all walked with Hermione to the Hospital Wing. Dumbledore, McGonagall and Madam Pomfrey was waiting for them. Hermione turned to her friends and Sirius gave her a hug and a kiss on her forehead. He whispered to her saying,

"Everything will be alright love. I promise."

Hermione turned to Remus and he asked,

"Are you ready?"

Hermione nodded and followed her into the Hospital Wing with the three adults. Hermione changed into something more comfortable. She sat on the cot and Remus sat in a chair next to her. The teachers talked for a little bit at first and then Madam Pomfrey came in with McGonagall.

"Alright Miss Reeves. We are going to reexamine you. Mostly where your wounds were and document them." Madam Pomfrey explained.

Hermione just nodded and took Remus's hand to hold. They sat there in silence while Madam Pomfrey did the examination. Hermione was becoming nervous and watched out the door and saw Sirius staring at her. She smiled to him and Remus looked to where she was looking at. Remus could tell that Remus was worried a lot about her.

Madam Pomfrey went back to Dumbledore and started to talk to him. McGonagall came over and asked,

"How are you doing dear? I know this is a lot to deal with."

"I don't know how I am doing. I know that I did not do this to myself. I would never do self-harm. I don't believe in that stuff." Hermione explained.

She was emotional about all of it. Hermione looked over to the door to see her friends still there. She turned to Remus and he let go of her hand and walked over to the door. He opened it up and walked out. Hermione watched him confused.

"What's going on?" Ginny asked.

"Why are you not in there with Mione?" Sirius asked.

"It's alright. They are comparing Lily's notes to what she found so far and I am here because I think that someone else should be in there with her. I know that Hermione said that she wants me in there because I understand but I think that there is someone else who understands more than me." Remus said looking over to Sirius at the last sentence.

Sirius looked to the others. Ginny nodded and said,

"Go, she needs you. I know she needs you."

Sirius walked into the room. He came over to Hermione and Hermione asked,

"Where did Remus go to?"

"Remus asked me to switch with him. He hopes that you are not mad at him but he believes that I can be more of a support system than himself." Sirius explained.

Hermione looked over to the door to see Remus standing there talking to James and looking at the door. She mouthed to him saying, 'It's alright. Thank you.' Remus nodded and turned back to James. Hermione took Sirius' hand and they waited.

"Sirius, why do Remus think you as a better supporter here instead of one of the others?" She asked.

"Because I have been through being tortured and I because he knows that I," Sirius was about to say but Dumbledore walked in and said,

"Miss Reeves, have you been able to remember anything from that night of the attack?"

Hermione thought about it and then when nothing came back to her, she shook her head no. Dumbledore looked over to Madam Pomfrey and she sighed in dismay. Sirius looked to them and asked,

"What does that mean?"

"It means that we think that your attacker may have erased that memory of the attack." Dumbledore explained.

"We are going to have to cast some spell to determine that." Madam Pomfrey explained.

Hermione nodded trying to stay calm. She held Sirius' hand tighter. He rubbed the back of her hand with his thumb to calm her down. Madam Pomfrey went to work and when she was done, she stepped back with a sad look on her face.

"Miss Reeves, you have been under a spell that erased that memory. I am so sorry." She said.

Hermione started to cry and Sirius engulfed her into a hug. He started to whisper soothing words into her ear. The three teachers just stood there in silence. Dumbledore lead the two women away and left Sirius and Hermione alone in privacy. Once Hermione calmed down she saw all of her friends around her. She smiled to them. Dumbledore came back and Ginny asked,

"So do you believe her now?"

Dumbledore nodded and said,

"We are going to try to figure out how to get those memories back for you."

"What do you mean try to?" Hermione asked.

"Well, memory is a tricky thing. It could go any way from getting those memories back or making it worse and you losing all your memories." Dumbledore explained.

Everyone stayed quiet. They did not know what to do. She was scared and confused. Hermione leaned into Sirius. He held onto her and just sat there in silence. Dumbledore told Hermione that it was up to her to choose if she wants to go forward or just try to figure out who did it without the memories.

"You don't have to do it Hermione." Ginny said.

"I know Gins. I have made my decision up. I am going to,
