"We have a new student", San's english teacher announced. "Please come in and introduce yourself."

A rather tall boy with black hair entered the classroom. He wore an all black outfit and a red scarf. A few gasps from some girls next to San could be heard. It would've been a lie if he said the guy didn't look attractive as hell, but he found it quite annoying that the girls had to make it so obvious that they found the new student hot.

"Hi, my name's Seonghwa. I moved here a week ago and will now go to this school with y'all", the boy said confidently, a little smirk playing on his lips.

Immediately, a wild whisper broke out among the girls. The male students just sat in their seats indifferently.

"There's an empty seat next to San, you can sit there", the teacher now said, making San turn his attention back to the new student and smiling at him.

He wanted to make the other feel welcomed since he knew it is hard to go to a new school at first.

A certain invisible ghost on the other hand, was not at all enthusiastic about this new student. Especially, because he was sitting next to San... or to be specific: floating in the air above the chair.

So technically, the seat was taken and not empty.

But of course nobody knew because they couldn't see Wooyoung. Not even San himself.

Still with a smirk on his face, Seonghwa walked towards San and let himself fall on the "empty" seat next to him.

"Hey, thanks for letting me sit here", he said to San, the smirk changing into a genuine smile.

"Excuse you??", Wooyoung yelled when Seonghwa basically sat through him. "It's rude to just take a place that's already taken you... you buffoon!"

Oh, how he wished this new guy would hear him.

He had to admit that he was attractive and seemed really nice, but there was something that extremely bothered him. He just couldn't make out what exactly it was.

"No need to thank me, you're welcome", San said to Seonghwa.

"You just accept him taking MY seat??", Wooyoung interfered again, of course without anyone hearing him. "That's so unfair. Where am I going to sit now?"

With a pout on his lips, Wooyoung decided to just stand in the air next to San. He said he would not leave his side, and Wooyoung kept his promises.

After the whispering died down a bit, the teacher announced that they would be working in pairs with their seat neighbor on different presentations about english poets.

"Seonghwa, you will do it with San. I think you will work great together."

"Oh, I think so too", the new student smirked, unconsciously making a slight blush appear on San's cheeks.

"NO!", Wooyoung stared daggers into Seonghwa's eyes to try to convince him to change partners by telepathy. But of course it wasn't working.

"We could meet up sometime soon to prepare our presentation", San suggested.

"Yes, wait, tell me your phone number, so that I can text you when I have time", the other said, pulling out his phone and giving it to San.

After he saved his number in the other's phone, he gave it back to him with a smile.

"Thanks, babe", Seonghwa chuckled.

"Babe?? He is not allowed to call you that, Sannie. Who allowed him? Because I definitely didn't!" Wooyoung wanted to step in between and separate the two since they were way too close for his liking, but he couldn't touch them.

He was pulled back from his thoughts when he heard the two boys in front of him start laughing and giggling at each other.

His heart didn't beat anymore, but somehow he could still feel a small pang in his chest at the scene.

San. Stop.

"Wooyoung?", San asked suddenly, having clearly heard the younger in his head again.

"What's a Wooyoung?", Seonghwa asked confused.

I'm not a what, I'm a fucking who, you idiot.

"Watch your mouth", San said deeply, seeming to get a little angry.

"What? I just asked a normal question", Seonghwa said in his defense.

"Not you", San sighed.

Wooyoung was so furious that he didn't even notice San had heard his thoughts. He was confused how this was possible since he believed they could only communicate this way if they actually wanted it.
