Wooyoung sat on San's desk chair and skeptically looked at the hair dye in front of him.
"Does it really have to be purple?", the ghost asked doubtfully.
"It's a complete change from your hair color now and if you don't want others to recognize you then yes, it has to be purple", San replied, already pulling up the gloves and grabbing the packaging of the hair dye.
"W-What if I look ugly with it?", the younger mumbled.
"You're literally invisible most of the time, so why would it matter? Nobody even gets to see you", San chuckled slightly.
"You see me!"
San looked up from reading the instructions. A smirk crept onto his face.
"So, you want to look pretty for me?"
Wooyoung's cheeks heated up immediately after the older said this. He didn't even fully know himself why he cared so much about his hair color, but San was probably right.
He didn't want to look ugly in front of the other. He wanted to impress him.
And he didn't want to waste the short time he was visible at all with ugliness.
But San didn't need to know that.
"I never said something like this!", he defended himself, still red like a traffic light.
San noticed it, but he decided to stop teasing the other and get serious for once.
"Woo, you really don't have to worry. You will look absolutely beautiful with purple hair and I could never find you ugly. Never."
Reluctantly, the ghost agreed and San began to apply the dye to his hair.

They had to walk to Yunho's house since San didn't have a car, but they didn't mind. Spending time with each other was the best thing they could imagine right now.
Wooyoung felt kind of uncomfortable in his outfit though. He borrowed black jeans and a silver glitter shirt from San. Since the older insisted on it he also wore a black choker around his neck. To make sure that really nobody would recognize him, sunglasses were sitting on his nose.
This whole outfit was so out of his comfort zone and San noticed it.
"You look hot, you know", he blurted out all of a sudden.
"W-what?", Wooyoung stopped in his tracks and looked up at the older with wide eyes, making him let out a chuckle.
"Now, you're cute again."
The ghost didn't know what to reply, so he just stayed silent for the rest of the walk until they finally came to Yunho's house.
"Aaah, San, my friend. Glad you came. The alcohol is in the kitchen", Yunho babbled, probably already having a lot of it in his system.
"Ouh, who's this snack?", he asked curiously, eyeing Wooyoung up and down.
The spirit's body tensed up immediately from the sudden attention he got. He had to try hard to not just go and hug his former best friend. But that would be absolutely awkward since Yunho thought he was a stranger.
"This is my friend Woo...", San bit down on his tongue in anger. He had almost spilled Wooyoung's actual name.
"Woojin. My name is Woojin", the ghost quickly added.
Yunho greeted them and led them inside. To their luck, it seemed like he didn't notice anything.
——————————-
It took twenty minutes for Wooyoung to get drunk. He never drank any alcohol before, so he couldn't stand a lot. Also, he didn't eat something beforehand.
"S-Sannie, I wannnn d-dance", he mumbled between hiccups.
"You look like you can't even stand on your own legs, Woo, how do you want to dance?", San said. He had only left Wooyoung for a few minutes because he had to use the toilet, but if he would've known how many cups of beer the younger would drown in this short amount of time he would just have kept it in.
"B-but I wannnn danceeee~", the younger slurred and jumped up on his feet, almost falling over if San wouldn't have caught him.
"Woah, slow down, little guy", he chuckled.
"Dance w-with meeeee." The ghost grabbed San's shirt in front of his chest and held onto it tightly. Then, he pushed the older backwards onto the dance floor.
However, the two were stopped by Yunho.
"Hey guyssss and gayssss, do you want to play a game with us?"
"Yesyesyes, I wan- play games, S-Sannie", Wooyoung yelled enthusiastically, jumping up and down a little and immediately forgetting that originally he wanted to dance.
"Come on, we're playing truth or dare", Yunho motioned for the two boys to follow him.
San didn't even try to convince Wooyoung otherwise. Maybe playing games would be less dangerous than dancing between a lot of people when the younger couldn't even walk straight.
They sat down in a circle with a few other boys and girls. Among them were Mingi and Seonghwa, the new guy from school.
San sent him a smile when he saw him and got a smirk in return.
Wooyoung leaned onto San's shoulder while they played. His head felt so heavy. The opposite from his heart, which felt so light, as if it would fly away any second.
The ghost listened to the others playing. The bottle in the middle of their circle never landed on him. Their voices mingled into one which made him tired.
That was until Mingi's loud voice pulled him out of his trance.
"Woo, truth or dare?"
————————————-
Two questions.
First: Do you drink alcohol?
Second: How old are y'all?
I'm 18 by the way, I don't know if I ever said this, but I'm so interested to know how old all of you are.
