In contrary to their first kiss on Yunho's party, this one was soft and light.

Wooyoung was testing out the waters, careful to not push things too fast. He nibbled on San's bottom lip, before slowly starting to move his lips against the older's.

And they kept kissing innocently until San pulled back, making Wooyoung feel insecure for the first time since they started the kiss.

Did he not like it?, the ghost thought.

"You caught me off guard with this, but I did like it, Woo", San replied, having heard the younger's thoughts.

A deep blush crept onto the boy's cheek, shyly looking away from the other.

"Mind explaining to me where that sudden urge to kiss me came from, hm?", San asked, crossing his arms over his chest and looking at the younger seriously, but with a hint of amusement in his eyes.

Wooyoung's face only reddened more, if that was even possible at this point. He whined quietly and turned away from San, nervously fiddling with his hands.

"Am I too irresistible?", San chuckled.

"Noo~ I mean yes... but no, that's not-", Wooyoung could only stuttered, so he quickly shut his mouth completely before he would embarrass himself any further.

Taking a deep breath to steady his voice and try to calm himself down, the ghost turned back around to the older slowly.

It all came out, when he saw San smiling at him reassuringly, with his beautiful dimples and the little vampire teeth.

"I like you", Wooyoung blurted out.

A confused expression covered the older's face.

"Please repeat that, prince, I think I didn't hear you right."

"I... like you?", now it sounded more like a question, but Wooyoung couldn't help but to get nervous and insecure from San's lack of response.

"D-do you not like me? That, That's okay, I- don't feel pressured to... to say something, now. I just wanted to get this off my chest and you don't have to feel the s-same, but I thought... because of the nicknames... and- maybe I thought w-wrong, I'm sorry, I-"

"You didn't think wrong, Woo", San interrupted him, preventing him from continuing to stumble over his own words. "I like you too, my prince. It took me a while to realize, but I'm 100 percent sure now. I just- I don't know if this is gonna work out because I mean... you're kind of a ghost."

Wooyoung started tearing up, firstly because of San's confession and then because of his negativity.

How could be make the ghost so happy and then sad in a matter of seconds?

"W-We can find a way, I'm sure! It will work out, San, I promise you-"

"Woo, baby, don't cry, okay?", the older quickly closed the distance between him and the ghost and pulled him into a comforting hug, rubbing over his back and every once in a while caressing his head and hair with his hands.

"I didn't mean to make it sound like that. I'm just not sure if I can survive to only see you one hour a day when you're visible."

He could hear Wooyoung giggle through his tears.

"But I want to be with you from now on, Sannie. Always."

San smiled and pressed a few small kisses to the younger's head and forehead. "You. Are. So. Precious. Do you know that?"

"yes, hehe", Wooyoung mumbled into the older's chest.

San's phone vibrated in his pocket, but he chose to ignore it and focus on comforting the other. He felt like Wooyoung was so precious that he needed to be protected at all cost.

Another vibration.

"I'm sorry, Woo, someone keeps messaging me, I think I need to check that real quick", he gave in.

Wooyoung nodded and backed away only a little, so that San was able to pull out his phone and type something, but still close enough that they were touching.

heyy~ how about we spontaneously meet today for our project? I just got my afternoon free:)

"It's Seonghwa...", San mumbled, more to himself than to Wooyoung, but of course he had heard it.

"Not this idiot", he sighed, looking at the older skeptically. "What does he want?"

"He wants that we get our project ready today."

"But I don't want you to leave...", Wooyoung pouted and clawed at San's Shirt, pulling him closer again.

"Me neither, but I think he's right. We should really get it done soon, or else we won't finish in time. I'm gonna try and be back as quickly as possible, okay?"

"I don't really have an option... but please come back soon, I will miss you", the younger whispered.

"I promise, my love."

San gave him another soft kiss on the lips, which made Wooyoung's belly a palace for millions of butterflies, before he hurried to get to Seonghwa, so that they could finish their project quickly.
